I woke up to my alarm ringing. I switched it off as I sat up. I stretch then get down on my knees and thank God for waking me up. I go to the bathroom and brush my teeth, do my business and wash my hands. I then get back in my room and make my bed. When I'm done I go sit on my couch and call Bayanda.

-Goodmorning.

-Morning. How are you?

-I'm good. How did you sleep?

-I was sleeping well, but I was woken up. She says then I smile.

-Okay, sleep then. You'll call me when you wake up.

-Well I'm up now.

-You sure?

-No. Let me sleep. I laugh.

-Cool.

I hang up then smile and shake my head. I switch on my TV and soundbar and open YouTube and play Maybe by Johnny Gill. I undress then fold my clothes and put them on top of the washing basket. I then open the water in the shower and wait for it to get hot then get inside.

I was getting dressed now. I put on my briefs and sports bra. I put on my black tank top and basketball shorts. I put on socks and slides. I go to my dresser and spray on some deodorant. I put on my chain and two of my rings on my left and right middle finger. I go to my closet and put on my cap.

I then get my phone and get out of the room

I then get my phone and get out of the room. I go to Andiswa's room and knock. I hear her telling me to come in and I do. She was putting on her sandals now. "Almost done." She says then I nod my head as I sit down on the couch. After putting on her bracelet and ankle bracelet she gets her phone and wallet. "Let's go." She says then I stand up. We leave the room and go down to the kitchen.

Aunt Khanyi was already there making coffee. "Good morning." Andiswa and I greet. "Morning. How did you sleep?" She asks. "Good." We say then I go make myself tea. "Where are you two off to so early?" She asks. "Running some errands." Andiswa says. I finish making my tea then put it in a travelling mug. "See you later." I say as I leave. "Bye." She says. Andiswa and I leave and get inside her car. I make my way to the venue.

"Good morning miss Dlamini, miss Sibiya." The events planner greets when we get there. "Morning." We greet back. "We were told to come and check the progress." I say then she lets us inside the venue. So far it was looking nice. "You are not done yet right?" I ask. "No, not yet. We just have a few stuff to touch up here and there and we'll be done." She says. "How long will that take?" I ask. "We will be done by four." She says then I nod my head.

My dad was proposing today and not gonna lie, we outdid ourselves. It was looking beautiful and it was going to be the image we had in mind. It wasn't gonna be something that big. He had booked off a restaurant for the night, was gonna have a saxophone performance by yours truly, Mr Kenny G. Having connections is something else, because tell me how we bagged THE Kenny G in just a month. But we did it. Aunt Khanyi was gonna have her dream proposal and my dad was happy.
