Nang makalabas ang teacher ay agad na lumapit sakin si Thara. "Punta muna tayong canteen, gutom ako." Anito. Napailing nalamang ako rito. I thought she was going to talk about the report paper, magpapasama lang pala sa canteen.
"Sure! Basta libre mo ko." Nakangising aniko.
"Kapal mo hah! Ikaw nga tong mas maraming pera compare satin tapos ikaw pa talaga may ganang magpalibre."
"Masarap kase kapang libre." Nakangising asong aniko.
"Hayst... oo na! Libre ko na!" I chuckled to her.
Nag tungo kami sa canteen and while were on the way ay may mga bumabati pa samin, some even ask me to go out with them but I'll just politely turn down their offer. I'm used to this scenario at kabisado ko na kung ano ang mga dapat kong gawin. Mayroon ding iilan na gustong makipag date kay Thara na agad nya namang pinapayagan.
Siniko ko ito. "Hoy ika limang lalaki na yon sa i de-date mo ah."
"Okay lang yan, mapag sasabay-sabay ko naman." She said calmly.
"Lalakero." I mumbled and she chuckled.
"What?! I heard that!" Kunwaring galit anito.
"What?" Maang-maangan kong tanong.
"Oh come on... stop playing innocent, Cass—" Natigil ito sa pagsasalita na tila ba'y nakakita ng multo. I followed her gaze and I saw Lucian Kier, standing beside the entrance of the canteen. Mukang may hinihintay ito while some girls tried to flirt with him but he just keep ignoring them. Nandiri ako ng makitang halos mag isa na ang katawan ng mga babae sa katawan ni Lucian dahil sa sobrang pagkakadikit nila sa katawan ni Lucian.
I froze when Lucian raise his head and he directly look to my direction, tila ba'y naramdaman nitong may tumitingin sakanya kahit medyo malayo ako rito. Napatitig ako sa mga asul nitong mata. Those eyes really look so dangerous and the way he look at my direction is just like he finally saw his prey.
"OMG! Andyan si Kier! He must be waiting for my bebe." Humagikgik pa si Thara while pertaining to Jay as he bebe.
"Tara na Claire, nakatingin satin si Kier, baka tayo talaga yung hinihintay nya." Hagikgik nitong biro and god know how much I wish na sana nga kami nalang yung hinihintay nya. Oh my gosh get a grip of yourself Cassy! Nahihibang na yata ako, I keep on forgetting about my boyfriend whenever I met those blue eyes, whenever I see Lucian and this isn't good.
Naglakad na kami patungo sa entrance. When I walk pass him, I tried my best not to look at him, I tried my best not to stop but my body failed to cooperate with me. I my gaze landed on him I I feel like I was hypnotize, I'm being drowned with those oceanic eyes of him. Tila ba'y nais akong palapitin ng mga matang iyon, there's a force that making me want to be near him and I just suddenly stop in front of him dahilan upang umangat ang sulok ng labi nito. He was satisfied with my reaction and I hate it, I hate how my body react whenever I see him.
"Cassy?" Tawag sakin ni Thara but my eyes can't just leave his blue eyes. Hell! I even want to walk towards him para makatabi ko sya, para mas maamoy ko ang pabango nya at ang natural nitong amoy. How manly.
"Oh Cassy, andito pala kayo." Tila nabuhusan ako ng malamig na tubig nang marinig ang boses ni Dale. I saw how Lucian seem amused with my reaction but I also saw something on his eyes na hindi ko maipaliwanag.
"Cassy?" I tries to break my eye contact with Lucian to face Dale and thankfully dahil sumunod ang katawan ko.
"Y—yeah?" I stutter. Narinig ko pa ang pag ngisi ni Lucian sa likod ko.
"Are you going to buy something? Sama na tayo!" Napatingin ako sa likod ni Dale and I saw his teammates with him and I smile politely to them. I look at Thara and there is confusion on his eyes while looking at me, tila ba'y may ginawa akong kakaiba na hindi nya maintindihan and I remember what I just did earlier, I must been look stupid that time.
"Sure! Kakatapos nyo lang bang mag laro?" Tanong ko kahit obvious naman. I just want to distract my self so I could forgot Lucian's presence. Tumango lamang si Dale sakin. "Tara na, I'm sure gutom na tong si Thara." Pag-aaya ko sakanila, I just can't forgot Lucian's presence when I could feel his piercing stare at my back. But maybe I'm just being delusional.
Nang paalis na kami'y sakto namang dumating si Jay.
"You wait for me? Oh, I'm touched." Pabirong ani ni Jay.
"Nah... I'm waiting for someone and she already came but... before I could even take her, some fucker took her from me already but I promise to take her back, no matter what." Madiin at makahulugang ani ni Lucian bago pa man kami makalayo dahilan upang marinig ko ito na ikinabilis nang tibok ng puso ko.
I unconsciously looked back and I'm shock to saw him directly looking at me, like I'm something interesting and he was planning something for me. That moment made me realize that there's something about to come, a dangerous wave from a deep ocean.
