Helplessly Drowning To You

Chapter 19

"I can leave now." It's already one o'clock so I can leave now.

"Sure." He nonchalantly said.

Napairap na lamang ako sa hangin ng makitang dumiretso na ito sa banyo at hindi manlang nag paalam. Sa bagay sino nga ba naman ako.

I left the room and noticed that there's really no maid at this hour. The house is quiet—well it's always been quiet in here but today seems quieter.

After kong mag kulong sa loob ng kwarto dahil sana'y gusto ko munang iwasan si Lucian ay napag desisyunan ko na lamang na lumabas dahil bigla akong ginutom.

I roamed the house para sana tanungin ang mga maid kung pano buksan ang kabinet dahil napaka high-tech ng bahay na ito. Our house also have high-tech things but Lucian's house is different. Masyadong mamahalin at pang billionaire ang bahay nito kaya nahihirapan akong mangapa sa bahay nya.

After roaming for minutes ay wala akong nakitang maid. Kahit isa, wala!! Akala ko ba after one o'clock ay babalik na sila sa gawain nila? Did they take a leave already? But that's impossible. This past few days ay lagi naman silang nandito hanggang seven o'clock ng gabi ah. Bakit umalis na sila?

May nakita akong bantay sa labas ng bahay kaya nama'y linapitan ko ito.

"Hi po, alam nyo ba kung nasan ang mga maid?Magpapatulong  kase sana ako eh..." I politely asked. He looks at me for a second and when he seems to recognize me ay yinukuan pa muna ako nito bago mag salita.

"Good afternoon, madamé, our lord gives an order last night and told us not to let anyone inside the house, so, even maids takes a leave for awhile. They'll be back tomorrow, madamé." The man says politely, still bowing his head.

They're on leave? But Lucian makes me stay on that forbidden room until one o'clock dahil daw yun lamang ang oras na wala sila sa paligid except sa kusina. Did he...lied?

I look at the guy who's guarding the house. Or maybe, this guy lied at me? Pinanliitan ko ito ng mata. "Are you telling the truth?" He said respectfully, still bowing his head. Tinanguan ko ito at nagpasalamat bago umalis.

"That guy, doesn't seems like he's lying. So, Lucian lied at me? For what??"

Tomorrow comes and those questions still bothered me until now. Hindi manlang ako nakatulog ng maayos dahil doon.

I have to go back to school and Lucian told me na mag sabay nalamang raw kami papuntang iskwelahan. May klase din naman daw kase sila kaya mas mainam na mag sabay nalamang kami papunta sa school at pabalik sa bahay.

I haven't ask him about yesterday yet and I don't want to think about it anymore. It's just too embarrassing for me so I never spat a word about it.

"Let's go?"

Tanging pag tango lamang ang isinagot ko rito.

He opened the door at inalalayan akong pumasok. Buong byahe ay walang may nagsasalita samin. Silence and an awkward atmosphere filled the car. Paminsan-minsan ay nagtatagpo ang mata namin ngunit agad akong umiiwas ng tingin dahil sa intensidad ng tingin nito sakin. I often heard his sigh because of it.

"Thanks." I said when we arrived at our University.

"What's the problem?" His hoarse voice echoed.

I paused for a second but eventually decidedly not to mind his words. I opened the door but it's lock. He locks it.

"Open the door."

"Answer me, Mi amor. Did I do something wrong?" His voice softened.

"Open this damn door, Lucian!" Naiinis ang boses kong ani. I didn't mean to sound piss but I feel so awkward and embarrass whenever I'm with him kase naaalala ko lagi yung nangyari sa silid na iyon. And I guess, I got piss of him dahil pakiramdam ko ako lang ang naaapektuhan sa nangyari samin. It feels like, what fucking happened between us is just nothing for him.
