The rest of the weekend went well, and now we were on our way back to the college.

We had a few hours to spend together before Daichi had to go back to his school. I really was gonna miss having him around. We decided to spend the time alone. Asahi went to Bokuto and Kuroo's room and Daichi and I had my room all to ourselves.

Most would've expected us to do normal...adult...couple things with this spare time. But we didn't. We sat on my bed together and we cuddled as we talked. We checked in with each other's mental status and our plans going forward. After both of us going off of our meds and relapsing, both of us were incredibly worried about the other. We agreed to keep each other accountable, but also to work on ourselves and take time for ourselves. As much as we wanted to be there for each other, we had to make sure that we were able to get through things alone. So, we agreed not to text about episodes unless we had no one else to go to or it was emergent.

I hated it, but it's really what was best for the both of us.

After we finished our discussion, we turned a movie on and laid there cuddling for the rest of the time we had. He pretty much had to leave once the movie was over, which left me alone in the dorm.

I curled up in my blanket, using one of my extra pillows to hold and cuddle in place of Daichi.

My bed felt cold and empty without him next to me. I guess that's what happens after a week of sleeping next to him.

Asahi soon came back into the room, seeing me wrapped up in a blanket cocoon.

"You okay?"

"I will be." I nodded, staring out into space.

"I'm here if you need me. I'm gonna go get a shower." He said. I just nodded in response as he walked into the room's connected bathroom.

When he came out, he saw me in the exact same position as when he left.

"Try getting a shower, maybe it'll help." He suggested. I nodded. I grabbed a clean set of comfy sweatpants and one of Daichi's t-shirts and headed into the bathroom. I turned the water on and hopped in once the room was full of steam.

I let the water hit my face, focusing on that instead of my mind for a bit.

The shower really did help. I wasn't a hundred percent, but I was able to fall asleep without an issue.

The next morning, I got up for my classes and headed to the campus Starbucks. My plan for the day was to just pretend everything was fine. Act like I did in high school, pretend I was fine and keep everything to myself.

I got my usual from Starbucks and then headed to my first class of the day.

Classes were boring, but seeing as it was Monday and I had nothing else to do, I figured I'd go to Karasuno for practice. It'd be a nice distraction to get my mind off being away from Daichi after being attached at the hip again.

Some of the guys were already at the gym when I showed up. By some, I mean Hinata, Kageyama, and Ace.

I headed to the bench where Ukai and Takeda were.

"Hey, what the hell are you doing here?" Ukai asked.

"Had nothing else to do after classes, so I figured why not." I shrugged.

"Fair enough. We have a match against Seijoh today, so we're probably using just our starting lineup, at least for the first match. But, I'll see what I can do to get you into a game at some point."
