Overflowing (Book 3)

~Chapter Fourteen~

The next morning I had to get up early as fuck for class, as did Asahi. Daichi was going to hang out with Kuroo and Bokuto because they don't have to get up early and their classes aren't at the same time either.

I got changed into stuff for practice, that way Daichi and I could leave as soon as I got off my last class for the day.

"Did you bring practice gear?" I asked him.

"Yep, including my old shoes."

"Perfect, be ready by like three-forty five, we're leaving as soon as I get back."

"Gotcha. Have fun in class. I love you."

"I love you too." I smiled before heading out to grab my morning Starbucks.

After classes, I headed to Starbucks real quick to grab Daichi and I something and then headed back to the dorm. He was currently in my dorm hanging out with Bokuto. They were talking about a video game of some sort, something Kenma showed him, Kuroo, and Akaashi when they were in Tokyo.

"Ready?" I asked.

"Off to Karasuno?" Kuroo asked.

"Mmhm. You wanna join us?" I asked.

"Yeah, I'm down. Give me two seconds." He said. He ran over to his room to change and grab shoes quick and then we headed out.

We took my car, with Daichi's music hooked up.

We walked into the gym to see Coach and Takeda doing paperwork at the bench.

"The hell are you guys doing here?" Ukai asked.

"Daichi and I are joining practice all week, Kuroo just tagged along today."

"All week?" Ukai questioned.

"Long story short, Daichi is staying with me for the week and I get off classes in time to be here so....why not?"

"Don't you have therapy this week at some point?"

"I'm supposed to..."

"Spill." Ukai said, crossing his arms. Oh boy, he's going all coach on us.

"So...we did a stupid." I started.

"Extremely stupid." Kuroo just had to add.

"Yeah, kinda. Um, so we both ended up going off our meds and relapsing. I'm skipping therapy this week. I need time to get my thoughts together and how I'm going to explain everything to him. We did both restart our meds so we're in that adjustment period and that's partially why we decided to show up at practice. Gives us a distraction."

"You both are idiots, but I'm sure you were already heavily lectured, so I'll skip it." He sighed.

"Mhm. So, what's the plan for today?" Daichi asked.

"We have a practice game against Nekoma."

"Hell yes, I picked the right practice to come to." Kuroo smiled. He was excited to see Kenma.

"Mmhm. They'll be here shortly, as should the rest of my team. For now, you boys can set the nets up and pull the balls out and fuck around for a while" Ukai said with a small smile. We set up the nets and then Daichi was spiking, I was setting, and Kuroo was on the other side of the net receiving. We were laughing and were having fun.

Soon, the Karasuno and Nekoma teams came walking in together. Kenma came right over to the three of us.

"You two know you're idiots, right?" Kenma said immediately. I guess Kuroo told him.
