The next morning, I ended up waking up in my car. I don't even remember falling asleep. My phone was dead, so I turned my car on quickly to see what time it was.
1:30pm
I'd already missed more than half of my first class of the day, so maybe just skipping classes all together for the day was the way to go.
I sighed, grabbing my phone, practice bag, and the pharmacy bag and headed inside the building to my dorm.
I walked in, finding the dorm empty seeing as Asahi had class right now. I plugged my phone in and stepped into the bathroom to shower.
After showering, I sat down on my bed and turned my phone on. It lit up with hundreds of notifications. Apps had notifications that were just coming through, plus a shit ton of missed calls and texts from a bunch of people. Kuroo, Asahi, Oikawa, Iwaizumi, and even Nishinoya, Kenma, and Akaashi. Bokuto and Daichi's names didn't even pop up once. I shouldn't be surprised, though.
I spent the next hour and a half curled up in my blankets, just staring at the wall. Asahi came back to the dorms and was surprised to see me there.
"Where the hell were you? We were worried, you weren't answering your phone and you didn't come back last night. The hell?" He practically yelled at me.
"I was in my car." I said quietly.
"Why?"
"Started out as I was just safer there than anywhere. Fell asleep, didn't realize." I explained.
"What the fuck happened?"
"I don't wanna talk, Asahi."
"Dude, no. You're talking. You're not gonna pull some bullshit like this."
"There's nothing to talk about."
"There is. We seriously thought you were fucking dead or some shit."
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to worry everyone. Therapy was hell, so I went to Karasuno's practice. Daichi was there. Said he wanted to cut contact for a month and so I'm just in a shitty mood."
"Daichi wanted to cut contact?" Asahi questioned.
"Yeah. Said we rely on each other too much and drag each other down, so to benefit us both he suggested taking a month to get ourselves together. He's not wrong, that's exactly what we do. And Bokuto wasn't wrong, I was acting like a child. And I know you guys are getting pissed off and annoyed with my issues. So...maybe just being alone is what I need." I said.
"You're not gonna go off and kill yourself, right? That's not what you're planning? I know some people isolate and push others away when they're planning."
"I'm not. That I can promise." I said. What I'd give to feel empty right now.
"I'll give you your space, but I swear to god if I find you dead I'm gonna kill you." He said. I laughed a bit at the comment.
"I'll be fine." I said. The conversation ended at that. I decided to head next door to Bokuto and Kuroo's room. I wanted to apologize to Bo for last night. I know I came off rude. I just wonder why he didn't mention to anyone that he saw me? Or maybe he did, and that's why the cops weren't called for a missing person report.
I knocked on the door and was greeted by the ex-ace himself.
"Hey." I said when he opened the door.
"Come on in, it's just me. Kuroo is in class. What's going on?" He ushered me into the room. I sat on one of the chairs and he sat on his bed.
"I just wanted to apologize for last night. I know I came off rude."
