For the next two days all she did was keep an eye on me. Ever since what happened in the office the principal has been keeping tabs on me all the time. I know that Raven did something unpleasant but what bothers me more is the fact that the principal is not doing anything about it. I mean there's a huge possibility that I'll get expelled for what Raven did to the former principal yet she's not doing anything, nothing at all. Though strictly speaking I was relieved that Raven punched that geezer's face so I'm not entirely worried in case we get expelled. As long as Raven took revenge in my stead.

"I'm curious about your alter ego Raven," she started. Shouldn't we be discussing about the other matter which includes that jerk instead of this? This is the last thing I expected her to talk to me about.

"Usually people would just outright assume that I've lost my mind regarding the matter about my alter ego rather than to acknowledge it," I snarked.

She looked into my eyes as if she's searching for something before a smile appeared in her lips. That smile again. It's always throwing me off. "Only ignorant people would think alter ego's are an anomaly. If you based it off from a medical or to be exact psychological perspective, alter ego's are commonly created as a self-defense or a way to mask one's suffering due to a traumatic experience," she explained, never breaking eye contact. She knows what she's doing and it won't be long before she finds out my situation. This is why I don't want anything to do with this woman. It's like she can read right through me whenever I make eye contact with her. "Raven didn't just appear out of nowhere without a reason."

"Aren't you supposed to expel me?" I abruptly changed the topic. I need to stay calm even if she has a hunch, it still won't matter as long as I won't admit anything.

My avoidance of the topic only seemed to look like I'm indeed hiding something but instead of pushing further the principal only leaned her back on her chair, a tiny smile on her lips. She's insufferable. "Well, I have many reasons to do so however I won't do anything drastic without knowing the other party's side of the story.....that's not how I work. Besides, Mr. Stevens suddenly disappeared without a word after Raven's so called threat the other day which means there's no solid proof that you two did anything that could result to expulsion," Why does she have to be this righteous. It's really annoying and it's ticking me off. What more is she's acknowledging Raven's existence just like that.

That aside, I'm glad that bozo understood Raven's point. Raven would've killed him a long time ago if only I didn't stop her, insisting that I shouldn't get my hands dirty with the likes of him. "But you know you can still expel me since technically you were there too."

She slowly nodded her head, "True. But clearly your rash behavior goes a long way from just a simple hatred towards the school's negligence," what she said made me clench my teeth. I'm honestly trying my best not to react too much that could justify everything she's saying but at this point I'm not so sure if I could hold out any longer. She's slowly breaking my resolve. "I still don't know what lies beyond that armor of yours...but I want you to know that you can rely on me." she tried to reach out for my hand but quickly stood up and moved away.

"Thank you for not expelling me but I don't need further help from you. I'll be excusing myself now." I said then left her office and head straight to work.

It was already 9 o'clock in the evening when I got home. The moment I opened the door I was greeted by my bastard father who is drunk as usual. The house is once again in a mess. Obviously he broke and ruined everything he saw. It's not a surprise since he always does that whenever he's drunk. Not like he's ever sober to begin with.

"If it isn't my good for nothing daughter," he said, his words slurring yet surprisingly I can still understand what he's saying. "You know the drill. I need money," how can he demand some money from me when I just got my paycheck a week ago? and I don't plan to give him the remaining money I have left. I'll starve to death if I do so.
