~YOUR POV~
I woke up to the bright light of day and the chirping of birds. When I tried to sit up, an excruciating pain shot through my side, "AAAHHHH!" I screamed. "I suggest that you lie still miss, you'll reopen your wound if you move too much" said a deep voice. 'I've heard that voice before...but who is it?' I thought, looking at the owner of the voice. "Wh- where am I?" I asked weakly. "The Trancy manor. My master didn't want you to die, so he ordered me to bring you inside and fix your wounds" the man explained. "I've never heard of the name 'Trancy' but he must be important to be able to own a manor..." I thought out loud. "You are right, the Trancy earl is a quite important figure in society. So you should feel blessed that ne decided to take you in" stated the man. "Oh...then please give him my upmost thanks Mr.-" "Claude. And I will deliver your message" he stated before leaving the room.
~CLAUDE'S POV~
I walked into the room where the young neko was recovering. 'She looks so peaceful...' I thought before opening the curtains, letting the sunlight shine into the room. I saw her try to sit up, but she then screamed in pain. "I suggest that you lie still miss, you'll reopen your wound if you move too much" I told her, trying not to show the worry that I felt for her. "Wh- where am I?" she asked weakly. "The Trancy manor. My master didn't want you to die, so he ordered me to bring you inside and fix your wounds" I explained. "I've never heard of the name 'Trancy' but he must be important to be able to own a manor..." she stated. "You are right, the Trancy earl is a quite important figure in society. So you should feel blessed that ne decided to take you in" I said. "Oh...then please give him my upmost thanks Mr.-" "Claude. And I will deliver your message" I stated before leaving the room. 'I wonder how she got all the way out here...' I thought as I headed towards my master's library.
I knocked on the library door and awaited permission to enter. "Come in" I heard a voice say. "Your Highness, I have woken up the girl, though she seems to be in severe pain" I reported. "At least she's alive" my master sighed. "She also wanted me to give you her upmost thanks for taking her in" I added. "Really? She thanked me?!" he asked in shock. "Yes, your Highness" I replied. "I'm going to go see her!" the boy squeaked as he skipped down the corridor that lead to the neko girl's room. 'I do hope that the young Highness doesn't hurt the girl anymore than she already is' I thought.
"Good morning!" shouted my young master. "Aaahhh!" the neko screamed, jumping up and then falling out of bed. "Owch!" she squeaked. "Hey! You!" the blonde called out. "Mew?" she peaked up from behind the other side of the bed, her ears were folded down in fear, and her eyes were brimmed with tears. 'She probably opened up the wound' I thought. "No, I said 'you'! Not 'mew'! Stupid girl!" he scolded. "I- I- *sniffle*" she whimpered, tears now falling down her face. "Um, your Highness?" I addressed the boy. "What is it, Claude?" he asked, sounding quite annoyed. "She has very good hearing, and she is injured. So it's not the best idea to yell and scare her" I told him plainy.
I cleared my throat; "Miss? Are you alright?" I asked gently. "O- oh...y- yeah...sure" she put on a fake smile. "Please, do not lie" I stated firmly, making her gulp nervously. "It- it hurts" she admitted, covering her freshly blood-soaked bandages. "I told you not to move so much" I sighed. "B- b- but it's not my f- fault, Mr. Claude! It- it was him!" she pointed at my master, her ears were folded back and her tail was flicking side to side as she argued. "What?! I've done nothing wrong! It's your fault for jumping up and falling to the floor!" the boy retorted to the now angry neko girl. "You're the one who barged in here and started yelling!" she hissed. She had her ears back, tail flicking, and was baring her fangs as well. My master took a few steps back, slightly frightened. I tried to hold back a smirk of amusement.
