In when a total of 23 contestants joins mnet's I-LAND, one of them being a Japanese girl named Sato Hana.

"What's wrong? Are you okay?"
Jungwon looked up at Hana, watching the older girl sit next to him on the couch while everyone was eating. "Nothing. Are you okay?" The boy redirects the question to the girl in which she only just raises her brow.
"I'm asking you Yang Jungwon. I can tell somethings wrong."
The boy leans back onto the couch, letting his head fall back as he stares at the ceiling. "I don't think I'll be able to debut."
The girl suddenly frowns. "Jungwon if I'm being 100% you're one of the last people that I think won't debut." The girl chuckles at the worried boy, watching as he looks at her as if she was stupid. "Are you crazy noona? I was the last person before the cut off for eliminations. Number 9. Only 7 of us are debuting."
"Potentially 8? Remember there might be an 8th member. I was 11th out of 11 contestants. Just focus on clearing your mind for the next mission."
The girl looks at the younger boy, not sure how to make him believe in himself as much as she does. "Let's make a bet."
"Oh my god Sato Hana is making a bet."
The two turn towards Jay as he suddenly appears in front of him. "Whenever this girl makes a bet she makes it knowing she's like 99% going to win. Anything less she doesn't accept."
"Hyung are you her fan?"
"Yes."
The three laugh together at the conversation. "Okay continuing, I'll bet you 10,000 won that you'll debut."
"Noona that isn't a lot of money. That just tells me you're scared of losing and don't want to pay." He says, pouting at the two older contestants beside him. "Nah uh Jungwon she puts small amount because she feels bad if anyone pays more than that. That's her highest."
Hana just smiles at the boy that knows every single fact about her. "I didn't know you knew this much about me."
"Yeah well I was determined to be your friend of course I paid attention." Jay states, remembering how hard it was to be friends with Hana at first due to how closed off she was.
"Anyways Jungwon, do we have a bet?"
The two shakes hands. "At least I'll get 10,000 after failing." He mumbles, the two not catching it.
