In when a total of 23 contestants joins mnet's I-LAND, one of them being a Japanese girl named Sato Hana.
"Why don't you just join the girl version or another girl group?"
"The company wants my voice, but with my dance they want me with a boy group...

"Woah, I like your hair!"
Sunghoon smiles shyly and slightly bows, thanking Wonyoung for the compliment on his platinum blonde hair. "Oh I heard your IVE debut is next week! How are you feeling?"
After their discussion last week, they've gotten much closer. Both are happy they've found a good friendship through their work.
"Oh my I forgot to ask! How's Hana? I saw a clip of her live. Is she okay?"
Sunghoon sighs and nods slowly. "She's staying at Heeseung's parents house as their family's are friends. But she said she'll have to go back to her apartment soon.. we're not sure what to do."
"So it's true? She has a stalker sending her hidden cameras?"
The boy nods, his fists already balling up in anger just at the thought of it. "I don't know what crazy person would do such a thing but, I swear if I ever see him."
Wonyoung slightly smiles. "What are you going to do? I don't think Hana would appreciate you getting involved with such a scary person."
Sunghoon sighs again, leaning back into his seat. "We're trying to convince her to stay at ours if she feels too much of a burden at Heeseung parents house. But she said it'll just cause a scandal if people found out."
Wonyoung nods along, understanding both point of views. "Is there another bed or does she sleep with..."
"She sleeps in Jay's bed. Those two are the most platonic opposite gender friendship I've ever seen. They can sleep on the same bed, cuddle and what not but they won't ever cross that line because they simply just don't see each other as more than friends. I don't think I could do that."
"Why not?"
Sunghoon chuckles as he looks over to Wonyoung. "I think I'll catch feelings too easily." He says shyly, Wonyoung smiling at the older boy. "Don't worry I agree. I feel like even if I hug a male friend a bit too much I'd catch feelings. It's why I don't do it." Wonyoung shrugs, sipping her drink.
"Maybe you just have to experience the heart break first. I can hug Hana now without feeling all...."
"All shy? All butterflies in your stomach?"
The boy side eyes the younger girl. "You're just taking a jab at me aren't you."
Wonyoung smiles brightly at the boy, finding his jokingly sour expression adorable. "Wait so you don't like Hana anymore I'm guessing?"
Sunghoon looks at the girl, contemplating on his next words as his eyes shift over her facial features. "I don't think so. I truly think I just see her as a friend now." The boy smiles when seeing the girl before him smile. "Wow, I'm happy. Oppa isn't in his heartbreak era anymore."
