In when a total of 23 contestants joins mnet's I-LAND, one of them being a Japanese girl named Sato Hana.
"Why don't you just join the girl version or another girl group?"
"The company wants my voice, but with my dance they want me with a boy group...

"That Jay knows too much." Sunghoon mumbles, a confused Jungwon beside him.
"What hyung?"
"Ah nothing, I'll be back."
Sunghoon leaves the table, rushing over subtly to their shared room. He slowly knocked on the closed door but got no response, so he opened it slowly, peaking through.
When the room presented itself as empty, he opened the door wide and stood up straight, frowning. He slowly walked in and froze when hearing the shower water run.
But that wasn't the only thing he heard.
He slowly stepped closer towards the door, placing his ear on it. Soft cries were heard through the sounds of pouring water, sniffles and hiccups passing through.
He pitied her.
He walked over to K's bed that was closest to the bathroom, sitting on it as he waited. Soon enough the shower water stop, small sniffles accompanied the steps that he heard.
Around 2 minutes later the girl had come out in sweatpants and a long sleeved shirt, her hair damp as her eyes were red and puffy.
Her eyes widened when seeing the boy, turning around. "What are you doing here?"
Her voice was hoarse.
"I heard you crying you don't need to hide your eyes."
The girl stood there silent for a couple seconds before turning around, sniffling slightly as she played with the ends of her sleeves.
"Are you okay?"
She didn't respond.
The boy stood up and walked slowly over to her, putting his arms out as he wrapped one around her, the other placing her head on his chest.
She stood there with her arms beside her body, slowly leaning her head more comfortably on his chest, his warmth spreading through her cheeks.
"Did you hear them?"
She nodded.
"I went.. I went to film my thoughts like every other contestant here does and.. I told them how happy I was that I thought they were accepting me and seeing me as part of a team. I used up my own time to learn their parts so I could teach them, so they couldn't have a hard time. I feel so stupid."
