"Oh, how sweet!" said the woman quietly. "She's smiling at us!"

"She has your eyes," commented the man sitting next to her.

The young couple were sitting in a softly lit room, greeting the newborn baby girl who had just been born.

"Well honey, what are you going to name her?" the man asked, staring into the eyes of his daughter.

The young woman thought for a moment until she thought of a perfect name.

"How about...Lindsay."

"That name is beautiful. I can already tell that she will be just like you someday," he said lovingly to his wife.

The new mom stared down at the baby girl. The child's ocean blue eyes glowed with delight as she stared back at her.

Then she whispered something in the baby's ear thrice, "Even in the darkest times of told, I will be strong and I will be bold."

When she finished speaking, the man asked, "What are you telling her? Hopefully not a secret."

"Oh, no. I was just repeating something to her that I read once in a story. It is said to bring good luck."

Soon after, when the dad left the room, the little baby in the mom's arms closed her clear blue eyes for a moment. When she opened them again, something was different. Her eyes were completely white and there appeared to be rays of bluish white light dancing around the room.

When the baby blinked again, her eyes were back to normal and the lights faded away into the air. The young woman's eyes widened at the sight she saw. As the shocked mother gazed into the girl's peculiar eyes, she could only wonder what kind of unbelievable thing had just happened.
