#04 | TROUBLE
— generation , triples
" Hate is a strong word... "

"OH HONEY, THIS looks quite nice," Haeun's mother said, pulling a red dress off the rack. Haeun looked around from the shelf she was searching though.

It was a short red dress, with a square neckline and long sleeves. "It's cute, but don't you think it's a bit hot to be wearing long sleeves?"

Her mother frowned, feeling the material of the sleeves with her fingers. "Oh no it should be fine," she said, the stress on her face clearing up. "It's quite thin material actually."

Haeun pursed her lips in thought. She thought it looked good but wasn't fully convinced. But, they had been searching through the stores all afternoon, and this was the one which had captured her heart the most. "Hmmm" she put her finger on her chin. "Let's take it!"

After purchasing the item, the mother and daughter decided to check out another store. This one was a makeup and beauty store. "Oh wow, I quite like the shade of this lipstick" her mother said, picking up a bold matte red lipstick from it's stand. "This one is cute too," Haeun said, picking up the lipstick but in a pink shade.

"There are some more on the other side" Haeun said, craning her neck over. "Ooh, Dior!" her mom exclaimed, walking around to the other isle.

"Mom," Haeun exclaimed, hurriedly putting down the product she was examining and speeding over to where her mom was headed.

And right in front of her, she spotted someone she hated horribly walk right past them with her nose stuck up high in the air.

"Mom!" she urged in a sharp whisper and pulled her mother back by the fabric of her dress. "Honey, isn't that your friend-"

"Shush!" Haeun hissed, placing a finger on her lips. "I hate her so much!" The pair watched from the shelves as the girl and the boy next to her walked through the aisle in front of them, their backs facing them.

"But Han Sooin is a good girl, right?" Haeun's mother whispered to her daughter. "I know her father too, I actually do believe he will be coming for dinner tonight as well!"

Haeun mentally groaned, her shoulders slumping. "Mom, she is an absolute bitch! I hate her," Haeun folded her arms across her chest. Her mother rolled her eyes. "Hate is a strong word..."

Haeun just stuck her tongue out at her mother. She watched as the boy next to Sooin snaked his arm around her waist, causing her to giggle before melting into his embrace. "Is that her boyfriend?" Haeun's mother asked, looking rather awkward.
