"HAEUN! COME DOWN here, honey!" Here mothers voice echoed from downstairs. Haeun, who was lazing on her bed on Friday night, was still in her uniform as she scrolled robotically on her phone.
"Coming," she yelled back, sighing as she threw her phone beside her and dragged her body up. She rubbed her eyes tiredly as she made her way down the stairs, walking towards her mom who was in the living room.
"You called?" Haeun prompted, leaning against the wall. Her mom looked up from the drama she was watching on the TV.
"We're going over to one of your dad's friends house for a dinner. Dress well, alright?" she asked, and Haeun nodded.
She wasn't really feeling in the mood to dress up, but she knew how important these relationships meant to her parents.
She searched through the racks of dresses in her closet, fingers brushing through, trying to find something that she hadn't worn before.
After minutes of pondering, Haeun finally settled on a sleek black dress, which was tight at the bodice but loose at the bottom, falling just below her knees.
Not in too much of a mood to get ready, she only touched up her makeup and hair slightly before plopping down back onto her bed.
