#14 | TROUBLE — sparks , coldplay " I missed you guys too "
"HAEUN!" REI SCREAMED, running up to her friend and engulfing her in a long hug. "How have you been?" she asked, pulling out of the hug and placing either hand on Haeun's shoulders.
"Good!" Haeun chuckled, being overwhelmed by her friends excited reaction to her arrival. Haeun's parents and Rei's parents chatted along with each other, as the small group stood outside the Pham mansion.
It was a gorgeous, multi storey building, with a sleek and modern design. "I thought Jihoon was your date today?" Rei asked, as the two linked arms and walked inside the mansion.
"Him and his parents all caught a stomach bug" Haeun explained. "Probably food poisoning or something" she added, and Rei hummed in agreement.
As soon as they entered, it was apparent that there was only a small amount of people invited to this dinner. Hanni Pham, looking extra cute in a pretty black and white dress greeted the two with a gummy smile and warm hugs.
"Guys!" she excitedly squealed. "I haven't seen you in ages! You guys are doing good?" Hanni asked, as she walked alongside the pair.
"Yes!" Rei nodded. Hanni smiled, before carefully lowering her voice. "I heard what happened between you and Jihoon" she told Haeun. "He's a real dick."
Haeun chuckled. "Exactly. I'm glad he didn't show up" she said, and Hanni laughed. "Next time, I'm just not going to invite him. Anyone who hates Haeun is not welcome in this household!"
After showing them to the living room, Hanni gave her leave and moved back to show some other guests around. Haeun was immediately engulfed into a big group hug by Taki, Rihan and Yeseo.
"I'm so glad your back with us again!" Rihan excitedly shared, as the group pulled out of their massive hug. Yeseo nodded her head. "It was so dry without you" she added, causing Taki to glare at her.
"I missed you guys too" Haeun smiled, and everyone else smiled too. Who could blame them, for Haeun's innocent gummy smile was truly too contagious!
Around them, there were more kids and their parents who were greeting each other. Everyone looked expensive in their black and white clothing.
Haeun spotted Jungwon and his parents talking to her parents. As if he felt her gaze on her, he turned in her direction. As they made eye contact, he raised his hand slightly, giving her a small wave. She returned it, flashing a small smile as well.
