#11 | TROUBLE — instagram , dean " I'll fucking sue you "
IT HAD OFFICIALLY been a day since Haeun had found out about Jihoon cheating on her. And now, she was going to be made feel stupid again because of her dumb tutoring session.
But Haeun wasn't as mad as she normally should've been. She needed something to take her mind off he-who-should-not-be-named, and who better to do that with her new, nerdy but slightly hot tutor.
Jungwon was single.
As far as she knew.
And although Haeun never pictured herself as quite the bad girl type, maybe a transformation and a new fixation was just what she needed.
A knock at her bedroom door told her that her (possible?) boyfriend was ready to begin another lecture in grade 9 trigonometry.
"Hey," Haeun smiled, letting him in. "You're not going to faint on me again, are you?"
Jungwon looked slightly bewildered. Today he was sporting a pair of thick glasses. "No" he hastily shook his head. "Today I thought we could focus on English instead?"
Haeun suppressed a small laugh at how bewildered and embarrassed he was looking. "Ok," she agreed, taking a seat at her desk. "As long as it's not maths, I'm fine."
Jungwon took out a huge blue textbook.
"These are all my English notes. I would say I'm pretty good at English, but it might not be the best. Still, these notes are what allowed me to pass at the top of my class, so I'm hoping they can help you too," he said matter-of-factly.
Haeun nodded, resting her head on her palm as she looked at him. "Let's start of with a quick pop quiz" he said, and Haeun nodded.
"How do you say 'I like cheese' in English?"
"I like cheese," Haeun spoke, and he raised an eyebrow.
"Very good. How about, 'I don't like school'?"
"I don't like school" Haeun spoke again, and he looked impressed, but also a bit confused.
"Have you taken English lessons before?" he made eye contact with her then immediately ripped his eyes away from her sharp, feline-like ones.
