Chapter 2

3RD PERSON'S POV:

It was now a new morning in the Kingdom of Lucerna.
The sun had risen, welcoming it's bright rays of light over the royal palace.

Although it was only the beginning of a new day for the young prince, here he was-

Sitting in the royal conference room with other people such as his parents, the King's advisor, the General, and a few other royal officials.

The King had did just as he said he was going to do the night before; to settle the issue by a proper discussion.

"I apologize for the early notice.", the King started.

"But there has been a bit of a conflict we're currently facing- relating to the Northern kingdoms. Last night, we received a message from the Atra Kingdom."

A voice suddenly interrupted-

"Forgive me your highness for questioning your word, but why would the Atra Kingdom attempt to communicate with us? For centuries, haven't been they held the reputation as the strongest nation, fighting-wise." , one official said.

"It's true, the Atrans have never lost a single battle or war ever since the beginning. They are powerful and rich in terms of weaponry, combat, and battle strategy." said the Royal General.

The King nodded, attentively listening to the men making remarks about the Atra Kingdom.

Seungmin sat tensely in his seat. Yes, he was the Prince and held very high authority over his kingdom, but he never had to contribute much in foreign businesses.

"My King, I object of this request. We can't risk ourselves and our armies to defend a Kingdom who most certainly doesn't need it!", an official voiced loudly.

"I strongly agree with Mr.Park, it wouldn't be logical nor beneficial to our kingdom. The Atrans surely don't need us as much as they think they do.", said another official.

"No! My King please think this wisely. This request can be an opportunity, and even an advantage for Lucerna. Please take in the consideration to accepting it.", a third voice spoke.

Seungmin clearly saw this as overwhelming to his father, even his mother was becoming evidently stressed.

With all the surrounding bickering and debating, something snapped in the Prince's mind.

He abruptly arose from his chair.

"SILENCE!", he yelled, his booming like thunder through the space of the conference room.

There was a pause in every person, as like if their brains couldn't process what the Prince just did.

All but the King smirked at this.

Everyone was now looking at Seungmin, shocked, but curious. People characterized the Prince as a quiet and solitary young man. No one would've expected such an outburst.

Seungmin sighed,

"Father, if I may...", he started, glancing at his father for consent.

The King nodded in affirmation.

"As everybody should know, the Atrans have shown nothing but endless victories and unstoppable power. Like the General mentioned, they're smart. They have the most intelligent and strategic battle-minds unlike anyone's we've ever seen. The Atrans have not lost a single battle, from what history has told us. They're pretty wealthy and well-supplied in weapons and soldiers.", he continued.

"Both sides make fair points. The Atrans are strong and rich in combat, but we are even richer in other aspects. For
centuries, the Lucerna Kingdom has always been the wealthiest in terms of agricultural prosperity along with our advanced studies and technologies.
