Before You

Trust

After dinner, the group, satisfied with their full stomachs, went back outside so that Chan could do a head count.

"OK, we are going to be going down the beach for our first activity. Follow me!" Chan put his hand up again to signal for the group to follow and everyone laughed at the sight this time.

"Poor Channie-Hyung" Jeongin snickered, running up to the front to support the eldest by placing his hand on his back.

The laughter died down and Felix snuck up behind Hyunjin, brisket grabbing his shoulders to scare him. The older just chuckled to himself and shook his head.

"You know if you want to be sneaky, you might want to control your giggles, I could hear you come up." He glanced his head back at Felix and ruffled the hair of the now pouty boy.

"Hm" Felix continued to pout and Hyunjin just smiled at him.

"Cute." Hyunjin smirked at Felix and saw the younger become flustered. They walked in a comfortable silence next to eachother.

They made it to a spot on the beach that looked like a campground. There was a huge bonfire surrounded by logs that had blankets over them for comfort. There was a path lit up by tiki torches that had various obstacles on it. They had a good idea where this would he leading.

"What is this survivor?" Minho groaned. Chan laughed "exactly!"

"As you all probably already figured out, since the company is not very original" He whispered the last part and everyone snickered. "This will be a trust exercise. You will be paired up this time, with each round you will switch places and then the line moves to the left. One person will be the eyes and the other the legs. Legs will wear a blindfold while carrying the eyes on his back. You will need to work together to avoid any obstacles and make it to the end. Understood?" Everyone nodded.

"OK first pairs: Minho and Jisung, Hyunjin and Changbin, Seungmin and Jeongin, and I will be with Felix. Everyone take a blindfold and decide amongst yourselves who will be legs first."

Minho and Jisung bickered like always. "But I'm lighter than you! I should be the eyes" Jisung stated. "As if I trust you to know your left from your right and avoid any collisions! I'll go first, you will have to carry me eventually anyway" Minho gave Jisung a stern look who pouted but eventually snatched the blindfold and bent slightly for Minho to get on his back.

The rest of the decisions were made pretty smoothly. Chan, Changbin, and Seungmin were the first to wear the blindfolds.

"And... go!" Panting and grunts could be made at the legs stumbled around blind under the weight of the eyes of the round. The sound was quickly drowned out by the eyes of the group yelling direction. The sight was something else and laughter soon cut through the group's directions.

"Ow!" Changbin somehow managed to hop on one leg with Hyunjin on his back as he shook his foot. "Why didn't you warn me about the rock!"

"Sorry man! I didn't see it in time" He patted Changbin on the chest as an apology as they moved forward. Hyunjin really didn't see the rock but part of him was happy it happened. 'That's what he gets for causing my jealousy.' Thankfully that was all it took for any petty feelings Hyunjin had to disappear, and his competitive nature to set back in. The rest of the course went smoothly.

Thankfully because of his competitive spirit he didn't pay attention to the giggles that came from Felix the entire time of the course. Before long the group reached the end of the course and all ended up hugging, even Changbin and Hyunjin who previously hadn't been all that close and even snippy with eachother at times.

"OK now switch" The previous legs now tied the blindfold over the new legs. There were a series of louder grunts this time as the eyes jumped on the leg's backs. The initial round was mostly decided on by the weight and strengths of the members, meaning that now the lighter members had to carry the heavier. Thankfully they were all pretty strong. The only pair not struggling with the weight issues was Minsung, however, Minho had his own moment of his breath hitching as Jisung squeezed himself on Minho like a koala and pressed his face into his neck. Thankfully it was dark so Minho's now flustered cheeks did not show.

Despite the weaker members now carrying the stronger, beside Minsung, the course went smoothly. There was still some laughter from watching the joint struggle of the members carrying the eyes, but overall the atmosphere was filled with teamwork and joint cheers at the finish line.

2 rounds later and it was Hyunjin and Felix's turn to pair up. Felix was the eyes first since he was smaller. Hyunjin picked Felix up with ease and a blush spread across his face as Felix also squeezed himself on Hyunjin, his legs wrapped around his waist and his head was resting on the older's.

"Hmm you smell nice, like citrus and spice" Felix whispered in Hyunjin's ears. Both blushed at the realization of the intimacy that the scene ended up looking like. Hyunjin brushed it off as soon as the starting sound went off. They communicated well together, just like when they were trainees, they knew each other's bodies well enough to give effective directions on where to turn and how to manage their space.

They were the first to get throigh the course at the fastest speed of the night. They high fived as soon as Felix jumped off Hyunjin's back. When the others finished their courses it was time to switch. Felix swallowed dryly, recognizing the very suggestive position of him being blindfolded by Hyunjin, who's fingers occasionally brushed his neck lightly. He pushed the thought away best he could, little did he know that Hyunjin was currently doing the exact same thing, feeling a little too aroused for his liking by the simple act.

They both cursed themselves internally. They both could easily admit that the other was attractive, but there was a line that was wavering that neither could, or wanted to, cross. Thankfully the moment passed as quickly as it came and they both took a deep breath and shook their bodies to let it go and to warm themselves up. It was now dark and cold.

"OK this is the last round everyone! Make it the best!" Everyone gave a thumbs up, another set of laughs broke out at the leg group who's thumbs up were aimed at all directions.

Hyunjin was surprised at how easily Felix was able to lift him. They completed the final course in no time and Felix spun a couple of times with Hyunjin still on his back, making both of them break out in laughter and slightly dizzy. Hyunjin jumped off Felix's back and took the blindfold off. Cheers and high fives were heard around the group.

To relax for a bit they all gathered around the bonfire to warm up. Felix was still shivering despite having a sweater on. Hyunjin pulled Felix closer and let him snuggle up slightly. He took off his scarf and wrapped it around Felix as a blanket.

"No. You'll get cold" Felix tried to block the action but Hyunjin pulled Felix's hand down and completed the embrace of the scarf.

"I'm fine, you're shivering" Felix looked at Hyunjin with a pout, again making the older one coo for the 4th time that night.

"Thanks" Felix ended up caving and grabbed the scarf tighter. It smelled so comforting like citrus and spice.

After some more laughter and a dramatic performance by Jisung and Hyunjin, it was time to head back to the hotel. Felix and Hyunjin both ended up falling asleep in the car, Felix on Hyunjin's shoulder and Hyunjin with his head rested on Felix's.
