Before You

Exploring Part 2

Hyunjin couldn't believe what just happened. He was filled with a million different emotions.

"Hyun.. you coming?" Hyunjin didn't notice he was still stationary. A now confused Felix was looking at him, he stretched out his hand for Hyunjin to grab it. Hyunjin desperately wanted to take it, but he couldn't handle it.

"Yeah sorry! Wanted to take a picture of something" Hyunjin couldn't reject the hand that was so warmly extended to him, so he decided to pick a random building to take a picture of. He turned toward Felix and started following him the direction of the bakery.

Hyunjin felt his phone buzz in his pocket. 'That must finally be Minho and Jisung', he considered ignoring it at first. Against his own selfish desires he fished the phone out of his pocket and looked at the message.

Min:
Sorry, Hannie saw something in the window of a shop that he wanted to check out and we ventured off.

Me:
Hannie? Aww how cute 😈

Min:
Shut up. Can we meet somewhere later? Jisung wanted to check out a market in town.

Me:
Sure. Don't worry I won't interrupt your DATE with 'hannie'.

Min:
Shut up. But ok thanks. Enjoy yours 😉

"Who's that?" Felix spoke up, coming back toward Hyunjin who had stopped while walking and messaging.

"O-oh" He quickly locked his phone, not wanting Felix to see the extent of the conversation. "That was Minho, they saw a market that they were heading to so asked to meet up later." Hyunjin was trying to hide the blush on his face and the smile that threatened to sneak out.

"Oh, I see" Felix wiggled his eyebrows and smirked. "Sungie is probably dying right about now, he gets so flustered around Minho" Felix giggled, Hyunjin just smiled at the sight.

"50 bucks says we both get bombarded tonight with lovestruck friends" Hyunjin smirked again and Felix raised his eyebrows.

"I say it happens before we even get to dinner" Felix counterargued.

"Oh, you're on!" Hyunjin chuckled. Felix raised his pinky up toward Hyunjin and hooked his, swaying it side to side to close the deal.

"So... you actually want to go to the museum with me?" Hyunjin asked vulnerable. He knows the museums aren't really most people's things so he didn't want to drag Felix along if he didn't want to go.

"Yes! But food first" Felix groaned, rubbing his stomach and patting it playfully.

"OK Changbin" Hyunjin teased. Felix just laughed at the comment and grabbed Hyunjin's hand, dragging him slightly as they continued toward the bakery.

When they arrived Hyunjin basked at the look of the place. The inside was warm with woody brown tones and gold light from the sun shining through the windows. There were modern but classic golden lights hanging from the ceiling and the entire shop smelled like freshly baked bread and butter croissants.

The view that he had of Felix made him take out his camera. The boy was looking around in wonder and scrunched his face cutely while sniffing in the heavenly aromas. The golden light from the windows bounced off his platinum blond hair perfectly. His eyes looked like a kid on Christmas morning as he turned his attention toward the glass casing that held the treats.

Felix squealed softly in excitement. He lost his breath for a slight second when he smelled citrus and spice and felt a whisper on his neck.

"What are you thinking of getting?" Felix knew it was not meant to be seductive but it sent shivers down his spine.
