Final Day In Jeju

Felix woke up first the following morning. He squeezed his eyes closed and scrunched his nose before yawning. He was about to stretch but noticed the comfortable warmth and steady breaths next to him. He had momentarily forgotten about last night. The realization that he was currently in Hyunjin's bed cuddling him made him break out in an intense blush.

Hyunjin was so pretty in the morning. Despite his hair being messy and his face mushed against the pillow, he was beautiful in Felix's eyes.

He couldn't help but smile. Hyunjin was a really good guy. He was so caring and overall thoughtful. Felix felt so safe where he was. He knew that their schedules didn't start until later and it was currently only 6. Felix wasn't sure if he should go back to his bed. He was really comfortable here and he didn't want to disturb Hyunjin, but what would he think if Felix was up and just stayed there.

He knew the older wouldn't say anything even if he did mind or if he did find it weird, he just wasn't that kind of guy. Felix decided to just try to go back to sleep for a little while longer. The longer he stayed awake the more he could overthink, which never led to anything good.

Felix carefully snuggled back into his spot and let his mind drift away.

Hyunjin woke up about 30 minutes later. He was also temporarily ignorant to the events of the night before and was reminded by the freckled boy laying against his chest. He got nervous. It was not that he was upset about it, he hadn't slept so well in a very long time, he just didn't know what to think.

'He is just a cuddle bug, you know this. Don't overthink it Hwang.'

It was still decently early in the morning and Hyunjin did not want to wake the sleeping Felix, but his heart started to race slightly and his mind got cloudy. It was too comfortable, too warm. He enjoyed it too much, this wasn't like him. He typically needs his space, but Felix looked so small, so comfortable, so angelic. Hyunjin did not regret it at all, but his feelings were becoming complicated.

He needed to think for a bit, and the sight of Felix next to him was clouding his mind, he didn't want to leave, but if he was going to be anything but awkward the whole day, he needed to process.

"Felix... angel wake up.." Hyunjin gently brushed some of Felix's hair out of his face and gently rubbed his arm to slowly wake up the younger.

His actions, however, only caused Felix to cuddle up closer and link his between Hyunjins, pulling himself closer into the older's chest. Hyunjin could physically feel his heart skip. The younger looked absolutely precious in that moment. His thoughts became more cloudy and his anxiety increased. His senses were becoming overwhelmed, his emotions too jumbled together. Hyunjin couldn't stay like that if he wanted to keep any semblence of sanity.

"Bokkie... I'm sorry... I have to get up" Hyunjin stoked Felix's cheek and nudged him a little more forcefully this time, causing the younger to wake up slowly and flutter his eyes open.

'He looks so cute, be still my beating heart'

Felix realized that he had trapped Hyunjin in his sleep and disconnected.

"Oh... sorry! I didn't mean to overstep. Silly SLEEPING me, give an inch I take a mile." Felix nervously laughed and rubbed his neck.

"It's OK, I'm not upset or anything, I just need to get up." Hyunjin gave Felix his best reassuring smile and gently led the younger's head back down.

"Stay here and stay comfy, I'm just gonna get some air." Hyunjin placed the blanket back on Felix but the younger one was overtaken with racing thoughts.

'Shit, I freaked him out'

"Wait... are you OK? I'm sorry I-" Felix started.

"You didn't do anything Bokkie, I slept fine. I'll be back soon" Hyunjin ruffled Felix's hair before grabbing him room card and heading out the door. Felix was unfortunately left with his own racing thoughts. He was trying not to overthink it.
