At Night...

It was a quiet night as Yn sat by the window, waiting for Jungkoo to return home. The clock struck 10:00, and she knew he would be late. Feeling a pang of hunger, she got up and made her way to the kitchen for a glass of water.

As she stood in the dimly lit kitchen, the cool water soothing her parched throat, she heard footsteps approaching. It was her mother-in-law, a kind and gentle woman, coming to fetch some water for her husband. Yn smiled warmly at her, and her mother-in-law returned the gesture.

"Yn dear, what are you doing here at this hour?" her mother-in-law inquired with a tone filled with care and concern.

"I'm just waiting for Jungkoo to come back," Yn replied softly, her eyes reflecting a mix of anticipation and worry.

With a reassuring smile, her mother-in-law gently placed a hand on her shoulder and said, "He will be late, dear. You should eat and rest. He will be back soon."

Yn hesitated for a moment, torn between waiting for Jungkoo and taking care of her own needs. But her mother-in-law's words resonated with a sense of maternal wisdom, comforting her restless heart.

"I will wait for him, Mom. We always eat together," Yn said with determination, cherishing the family ritual they shared.

Her mother-in-law's eyes softened with understanding, and she nodded in agreement. "Okay, dear. I will leave you to your wait then," she said before giving Yn a gentle pat on the back and making her way out of the kitchen.

Yn stood in the quiet kitchen, the click of the clock echoing in the room as she pondered her mother-in-law's words. She knew that waiting late for Jungkook was an act of love and concern, but she also understood the importance of giving him space. Just as she was lost in her thoughts, the doorbell rang, breaking her reverie. A smile spread across her face as she hurried to answer the door.

"Welcome home, Jungkook," she greeted as she opened the door. Jungkook returned her smile and entered the house, his bag slung over his shoulder. With a tired expression, he made his way to the couch and sank into its soft cushions.

Yn followed him, taking his bag and placing it aside before disappearing into the kitchen. She returned with a glass of water, offering it to Jungkook. He took it gratefully, draining the glass in a few long swallows.

"Are you tired, honey?" Yn asked, concerned about lacing her voice as she watched him closely.

Jungkook nodded, his eyes reflecting the weariness he felt. "I'm hungry, sweetheart," he admitted with a faint smile, his stomach grumbling in agreement.

Yn's smile widened at his words. "Come, let's have dinner," she suggested, reaching out a hand to help him up from the couch. Jungkook grasped her hand, allowing her to guide him to the dining table.

As they settled down at the table, Jungkook paused mid-bite and looked at Yn. "Did you eat?" he inquired, noticing the untouched plates in front of her.

Yn shook her head, a soft smile playing on her lips. "No, I was waiting for you," she replied, her eyes filled with warmth and affection.

Jungkook's heart swelled at her words, touched by her thoughtfulness. He reached out to squeeze her hand gently, gratitude shining in his eyes. Together, they shared a meal, the quiet intimacy of their shared moments speaking volumes more than words ever could.

After their dinner, Yn and Jungkook made their way to the bedroom, ready to retire for the night. Yn busied herself with making the bed, fluffing the pillows and tucking in the sheets with care. Just as she was engrossed in her task, she felt Jungkook's presence behind her.

His arms encircled her from behind in a warm embrace, his chin resting on her shoulder. Yn couldn't help but smile shyly at his unexpected gesture. "Leave me, Jungkook," she teased, feigning an attempt to break free from his hold.

Jungkook's voice, filled with playful mischief, brushed against her ear as he whispered, "What if I don't want to leave you?" His warm breath sent a shiver down her spine, igniting a spark of desire within her.

Yn turned in his arms, her eyes meeting his with a mixture of amusement and affection. Before she could protest further, Jungkook's lips captured hers in a sweet and passionate kiss, his arms pulling her closer to him.

The world around them faded as they lost themselves in the moment, the tender exchange of love and desire speaking volumes more than any words could convey. In each other's arms, they found solace, comfort, and unwavering love, a silent promise of forever etched in their hearts.
