Next day
At Morning....
As the sun peeked through the curtains, Jungkook blinked his eyes open, the soft rays warming his room. He stretched, feeling the stiffness in his muscles. he had to get ready for another hectic day at the office.
Sunlight streamed in through the windows, casting a warm glow over the kitchen where Yn was busy preparing breakfast. Jungkook, looking dashing in his office attire, was getting ready for his day ahead.
As Yn deftly moved around the kitchen, flipping pancakes and brewing coffee, for Jungkook
As Jungkook was tying his tie in front of the mirror, his mother bustled into his room, a bright smile on her face. "Jungkook, dear, I want to ask you something," she said, her eyes twinkling with a hint of mischief.
Jungkook turned to face her, curious at her sudden excitement. "What is it, Mom? Is everything okay?" he asked, slightly worried.
"Jungkook, dear, have you made plans for your honeymoon yet?" she asked, her eyes twinkling with excitement.
Jungkook paused for a moment, a thoughtful expression crossing his face. "Mom, I have to drop a letter for honeymoon plans," he replied with a hint of amusement in his voice. His mother nodded understandingly, her smile widening, and she soon excused herself from the room.
Yn approached Jungkook with a plate of freshly made breakfast, her eyes sparkling with affection. She set the plate in front of him, leaning in slightly as she asked, "Jagiya, where do you want to go for our honeymoon?"
Jungkook gazed at Yn with adoration, a soft smile playing on his lips. "Anywhere you want, my love," he replied, his voice filled with warmth.
Yn's cheeks flushed pink as she lowered her gaze shyly. "Wherever you take me, I will be happy," she said softly, her eyes meeting his briefly before looking down again.
Jungkook reached out to gently lift her chin, his touch tender. "I promise to make it a special and unforgettable journey for us," he said, his eyes reflecting his sincerity.
After finishing his breakfast, Jungkook bid Yn a loving goodbye and headed off to his office, his mind already starting to drift towards thoughts of their upcoming honeymoon. Throughout the day, he found himself lost in contemplation, considering various destinations and ideas for their romantic getaway.
At Office.....
After reaching the office, Jungkook found himself daydreaming about his upcoming honeymoon, his mind filled with thoughts of exotic destinations and romantic getaways. Meanwhile, he could smell the aroma of tea wafting through the office, signaling that someone was brewing a fresh pot. Sure enough, he saw Jungkook, his colleague, busily making tea.
Lost in his thoughts, Jungkook was pondering the perfect location for his honeymoon when he was interrupted by Eunwoo, another colleague. "Hey Jungkook, how's everything going?" Eunwoo greeted him with a warm smile.
Jungkook returned the smile but confessed, "Everything's fine, just a little confused." Eunwoo raised an eyebrow, prompting Jungkook to explain his confusion about choosing a honeymoon destination.
Eunwoo, always ready with suggestions, chimed in, "Why don't you and Yn consider going to Paris? It's a beautiful city, perfect for a romantic getaway." Jungkook's face lit up at the suggestion but quickly frowned, "But wouldn't it be too expensive?"
Eunwoo simply grinned and replied, "Yes, it might be costly, but you won't regret it. Some things are worth the price tag."
As they conversed during tea time, Jungkook felt inspired. He excused himself from the tea area, heading back to his desk. Grabbing a piece of paper and a pen, he started jotting down his thoughts and plans for the honeymoon. Once satisfied with his notes, he carefully folded the paper, secured it in an envelope, and rose from his desk with determination.
Walking towards his boss's office, Jungkook knocked on the door and heard a faint "Come in." Stepping inside, he handed over the envelope to his boss, Somi, who curiously accepted it. Jungkook nodded respectfully and quietly exited the room, leaving Somi to open the envelope and read its contents.
Somi's eyes scanned the paper inside, her expression shifting from curiosity to shock, then finally settling on pure anger. The words on the paper seemed to strike a nerve, evoking intense emotions within her. With trembling hands, she finished reading the contents, and her anger reached its peak.
Crushing the paper in her grip, "He wants a holiday for his honeymoon hah!" she muttered to herself in disbelief. Somi's face flushed with rage as she tried to contain her emotions. The message within the envelope had triggered a storm of feelings within her, leaving her seething with frustration and indignation.
In that moment, the office atmosphere seemed heavy with tension, the silence punctuated only by the sound of crumpling paper and Somi's controlled breathing. Whatever Jungkook had written had clearly stirred a deep well of emotions within his boss, setting off a chain of events that would reverberate through the office.
As Somi struggled to regain her composure, the weight of Jungkook's words lingered in the air, casting a shadow over the once serene workspace. The aftermath of that simple exchange would redefine relationships and dynamics within the office, leaving a lasting impact on everyone involved.
It was 4 o'clock, and Jungkook was diligently working at his desk when suddenly his phone rang. Startled, he picked up the call. "Hello?" he answered. On the other end was Somi's voice instructing him to come to her cabin immediately. Without hesitation, Jungkook got up from his chair and made his way to her office. He knocked on the door, and Somi's voice called out for him to enter.
As Jungkook stepped inside, he found Somi gazing out of the window. "You want a holiday for your honeymoon, right?" she asked without turning around. Jungkook nodded nervously, unsure of how she would react. "Okay. I expect your leave application on my desk by the end of the day," Somi said finally.
Jungkook couldn't contain his excitement and gratitude. "Thank you, boss!" he exclaimed with a wide Smiled gave him a fleeting glance before dismissing him. "You can go now," she said tersely. Jungkook left her office, his heart racing with relief and joy.
Back at his desk, Jungkook couldn't shake off the feeling of unease. He could sense Somi's disapproval lingering in the air. Glancing up, he caught her eye through the glass wall of her office. Her expression was steely, filled with a mix of anger and disappointment.
Meanwhile, Somi sat alone in her office, seething with frustration. She couldn't believe Surrendered to ask for time off for his honeymoon when there was so much work to be done. Her mind raced with thoughts of deadlines looming and responsibilities left unattended.
After a few moments of simmering in silence, Somi picked up the crumpled letter from her desk. She smoothed it out and read it once again. The words on the paper stung her pride, fueling the fire of her anger. How dare he prioritize his personal life over his duties at work?
As the day drew to a close, Somi made a decision. She would confront Jungkook about his request and make him understand the gravity of the situation. The work environment could not afford any distractions, especially not for something as trivial as a honeymoon.
