**At Night...**

As the workday ended, Jungkook stayed behind to finish his project. Eunwoo saw him still working and asked, "Jungkook, it's 7:20. Aren't you going home?" Jungkook looked up and said, "No, Eunwoo. I need to finish this project at any cost."

Eunwoo offered, "I can stay and help you." Jungkook replied, "No, you don't need to. Go home and rest. I can handle this." Eunwoo paused and asked, "Are you sure, Jungkook?"

Jungkook nodded, returning his focus to his work. Satisfied, Eunwoo decided to leave. Somi watched from her office, a wicked smile appearing on her face.

She got up, grabbed some files, and walked over to him. "Jungkoook, check this out; I hope it helps," she said, handing him the files. Jungkook took them with a nod. As Jungkook said, "Thank you, boss,", Somi smiled and said, "Don't call me boss. Just call me Somi when no one is around us."

As she smiled, Jungkook nodded again. She replied, "If you need any help, call me, ok?" As she was going, suddenly Jungkook stopped her, saying, "You-you're not going home?" She turned and said "No I'm staying with you here till the project together"

As she headed off to her cabin, Jungkook grabbed the files and started going through them. A smile crept onto his face as he thought, "Wow, I've got half this done already."

Half an hour later, it was 2:30 AM, and Jungkook was focused on his screen when Somi walked up to him. Out of nowhere, Jungkook suddenly felt super sleepy. Somi said, "Jungkook, I think you should get some rest." Jungkook stood up and replied, "No, boss, I mean, uh, S-somi I want to finish this project ASAP." Somi responded, "I get it, Jungkook, but this project is important. Just don't stress yourself out too much; it'll take a toll on your health."

Jungkook, his eyes heavy, nodded weakly. "I know," he mumbled. Somi sighed, a hint of concern in her eyes. She knew he was stubborn, but she couldn't let him push himself to the brink.

"Let's take a short break," she suggested. "We can grab a coffee and come back." Jungkook hesitated, but the allure of caffeine and a short reprieve was too tempting. He agreed, and they headed to the company's pantry.
As they sipped their coffee,

Somi casually asked, "So, did those files help you?" Jungkook nodded and replied, "Yeah, they did, Somi. Thanks a lot!" Somi shot back, "Come on, no need to keep saying thanks. Remember, we're in this together, alright? Let's do this!" Jungkook grinned as he was about to say something, but then his phone buzzed. He glanced at the screen-it was his wife, Yn.

With a big smile, he excused himself to take the call. Somi noticed and shot her a side-eye, feeling annoyed, and she headed back to her cabin. She slammed her hands on the desk and snapped, "That bitch! Every time I try to get close to him, she messes it up." Sitting back in her chair, seething, she declared, "I'm going to make him mine no matter what, and I'm going to make sure she's out of the picture."
