Next Morning....

Jungkook woke up with a start, the events of the previous day weighing heavily on his mind. The lost file was a constant nagging presence in his thoughts, and frustration coursed through him as he got out of bed, his footsteps heavy with resolve. He made his way to the bathroom, his mind already replaying the events of the day before.

As Jungkook freshened up, the sound of the door opening made him turn around, To his surprise, Yn stepped into the room, a concerned look etched on her face.

"Jungkook, your breakfast is ready," Yn said softly, her voice filled with care as she tried to break through his clouded thoughts.

Ignoring her words, Jungkook merely shook his head and muttered, "I'm not hungry."

Yn frowned, her worry deepening as she tried to reason with him. "But Jungkook, you need to eat something. You can't--"

Interrupting her, Jungkook's voice was firm as he cut her off, "Yn, please. My mind is already stressed out. It's not in the right place, okay? It's better for you to stay away from me right now."

His words hung heavy in the air, a barrier forming between them. Yn's eyes widened in surprise, hurt flickering across her features before she quickly masked it with a forced smile.

Without another word, Jungkook grabbed his bag and headed towards the door, leaving Yn standing in the room, her heart heavy with worry for him.

As he walked through the halls of their dorm, Jungkook felt a mix of emotions churning within him. Guilt gnawed at his insides for snapping at Yn, but he couldn't shake off the frustration and worry that gripped his mind.

As Jungkook drove towards the office, his mind was filled with thoughts of the day ahead. He parked his car, walked into the building, and made his way to his desk. Placing his bag down, he took a deep breath, trying to shake off the nervousness that had been building inside him all morning. Just as he was starting to calm down, his phone rang, shattering the brief moment of peace.

He picked up the phone and put it to his ear, "Hello?" he answered nervously. He was met with the urgent voice of Somi, his boss, on the other end of the line. "Jungkook, come into my cabin now," she said abruptly before hanging up. Jungkook's face paled at the sudden command, his heart sinking as he dreaded what might be awaiting him in her office.

Muttering to himself, he gathered his thoughts and tried to prepare for whatever was coming his way. Slowly, he made his way to Somi's cabin, each step feeling heavier than the last. As he knocked on the door, he heard a muffled voice from inside, "Come in."

Jungkook entered the cabin, his eyes nervously scanning the room. Somi sat behind her desk, her expression unreadable as she gestured for him to take a seat. "Jungkook, we need to talk," she began, her tone serious.

Jungkook could sense the seriousness in the air. Somi's gaze was fixed on him as she began to speak. "Jungkook, you know that today the dealers were supposed to come in for the project presentation that you lost, right?"

Jungkook's heart sank as he nodded in disappointment, fully aware of the missed opportunity and the impact it had on the project.

But then, to his surprise, Somi continued, "I took the liberty of rescheduling the meeting with the dealers. I gave them some time off and canceled today's appointment."

Jungkook's eyes widened in disbelief, unable to comprehend the sudden turn of events. Somi's expression softened as she smiled at him, her tone encouraging. "I'm giving you another chance, Jungkook. A chance to work on the project again and prove yourself."

Overwhelmed with gratitude, Jungkook managed to stammer, "Thank you so much, boss. I-I really appreciate this opportunity."

Somi nodded, her confidence in him apparent. "I believe in your potential, Jungkook. And I want to help you succeed. Let's work together to make this project a success."

Jungkook felt a rush of motivation and determination to wash over him. He knew this was his chance to redeem himself, to show Somi and everyone else that he was capable of delivering results.

As he left Somi's cabin, a sense of purpose filled him. He was ready to tackle the project head-on, with a renewed sense of focus and dedication.

Back at his desk, Jungkook wasted no time getting started. He dove into the project, pouring his energy and creativity into every detail. Somi's offer to assist him only fueled his determination further.
