Chapter 3

"I want the power, I want the title and you're going to give it to me"!

Aria:

The noises all come back, gunshots become louder, the sound of shouting and running echo's past as a last gunshot sounds making something fall and hit the cold floor. I dark figure stands in the dark way holding a gun beside before searching the wall for a switch.

Light appears to show Enzo stood there as someone comes behind. I try to scream but it's no use before he could turn he's hit from behind knocking him down against the cold floor. A second hit takes him out as he's dragged into the room being placed on another chair across the way from me.

His hands and legs are both tied the same way as mine as more men appear back in the room this time unmasked. The door is closed once more and wedged to stop anyone entering from the outside.

Lexi:

"It's clear"! I shout making my way back out towards the corridor to meet no one. "Enzo"? I call out to silence. Shit, I think to myself making my way back retracing my steps incase he went to look for me. Someone grabs me from behind pulling me back onto the floor making my gun fall before climbing on top.

I throw my hands up trying to defend myself as my gun is kicked away. Someone runs up behind dragging him off me before shooting him in the chest. "Santi", i say as he helps me up before dragging me into the closest room as more men appear.

"I lost Enzo I don't know where he went we split up to check rooms and he isn't here", i say as he puts his hand over my mouth. "we'll find him be quiet", he whispers as footsteps come closer. Someone rushes past before being tackled to the floor by Caleb as santi appears shooting at the rest.

"Where's Enzo"!? He shouts. "You were meant to stay together"! He adds. "We split ways to search but now I've lost him", i say as we rush back out.

Enzo:

Everything blurs as I'm woken up by someone kicking my leg. My eyes open making me feel dizzy before noticing someone familiar sat in-front of me. "Aria", i say trying to stand up but failing. I look down to see my hands tied as-well as my legs to a chair the same as hers.

"Well isn't this cute", a voice calls from the opposite side. Gio. He comes walking up behind her brushing the hair out of her face as tears glisten rolling down her cheeks. She's surrounded by a pool of god knows how much blood. Her body's beaten from head to toe, her clothes and belongings had been thrown to the side soaking up her blood.

"What a sweet family reunion", he says smirking. "Never thought I'd see the day Marchetti, you're quite popular at the moment I'd give you that", he adds. "Such a pretty girl, you sure do know how to pick them", he says bending down beside her ear as she turns away. "I'll give it to you she really is a fire cracker", he says pushing her face back to face me.

"Let her go"! I shout as he holds up his hand. "You're outnumbered no one can save you now", he says holding out his arms to the surrounding men. "Admit it I have you this time", he smirks. "Now we can do this the easy way or the hard", he exclaims.
"What do you want", i reply as he lifts his eyebrow.

"Isn't it clear, what I've always wanted, what I've always dreamed of", he says. "To be at the top". "I want the power, I want my title and you're going to give it to me", he says. "You wish, you'll never get it", i reply. "Oh but I will, you see you're going to give me everything you own, your money, your title, your business the lot". "Maybe even your little princess".
"If not well", he says holding a knife to arias throat. "She dies".

My fists clench against the chair trying to set myself free as someone hits me back down. "Don't be stupid Enzo, you and I both know you won't win against us all, you don't have your little army on your side this time", he says. "That much of a coward you won't fight be 1 on 1 you have your men save you at every occasion", i reply as he pulls the knife away from aria kicking the back of her chair knocking her down.

"Don't be smart, what you say will impact her", he says before pointing at her as one of his men lift her back up. Her body landed in the blood surrounding her making her soaked. Bruises and cuts cover her body as her wrists and ankles are red from the ties.

"Easy decision", he says. "Your life or hers, but be quick I don't have all day". "if you succeed in giving it all to me I might let her live but you don't have long she's losing more and more blood as we speak, I'd say she has an hour tops before her body fails her", he adds.

"Get it your own way I'm not handing it down to you, your going to have to kill me first then go for everyone else outside those doors, you won't win", i say as arias head tilts down. "Looks like it wasn't an hours tops after all", he says smirking. "Let her go"! I shout back as the sound of impact hits the cold door as it falls down creating a pool of smoke filling the air.

A shooting war occurs between the people from outside and the people within. I grab the ties around my hand right before pulling away kicking my legs free jumping at the closest guy. My arms go around his neck as he falls back. He tries reaching for the gun in his waistband as I reach it first taking him out.

Gio takes out his gun, now hiding behind the chair aria is sat in shooting over towards the door as people enter. "Hold the fire"! I shout as I see some of my men alongside Santi, Caleb, and Lexi come inside. "Don't you fucking shoot her"! I add before aiming my gun through a crack in the chair hitting him in the shoulder.

A thud hits the ground as his body lies back I shoot again hitting him in the spread out leg from the side making him curl up fully covered by her body. All of his men are already taken out at this point so I make my way over limping to see him unconsciously bleeding out laying on the floor.

I place my gun away before bringing out a knife cutting the ties around her legs and wrists. "Help me get her out"! I shout as Caleb comes over untying the mask around her mouth. Blood that she had coughed up covered the mask any longer and she would've choked to death on her own blood.
"She needs to go now"! I say. "She hasn't got long left"!

"We can't take her to a hospital it will be suspicious I know a place we can go but it's a bit further, if we go now we can make it", Lexi says as I lift aria from the chair. We rush out of the room dodging the bodies lying on the ground. Her body drips blood down me leaving a trail on the floor as we pass by.

The five of us take one car before telling the other men to search for the others and get out as soon as possible as we have aria. We get near the entrance as someone appears from behind shooting me in the leg . I drop down still holding aria as the others shield me as I stand back up. 'Fuck' I think to myself before limping back to the car.

The 3 of them sit in the front as I lay her across the back seats getting pieces of clothes to wrap against any open wounds. "Come on aria stay with me", i say trying to keep her awake. "Come on you can do this just a little while longer and you'll be okay, but you have to stay with me".
