"I'm not letting you out of my sight ever again"

Enzo:

Waking up to the sound of footsteps I look around to see Lexi opening the curtains. Peering over at the clock I see it's 9am on the dot. "Jesus lex", I say blocking the sun hitting my eyes with my hand. "Your parents are coming again in the next hour so I thought I'd wake you", she replies.

"The nurses said she can start eating so you might want to make sure she eats something before your parents come", she says as aria stirs in her sleep. "I'll go and get us some food then stay here with her", i reply standing up to fix my hair in the mirror.

By the time I had the food for us all aria had already woke up and was sat up in bed smiling as I walk in. I made sure aria ate as a nurse comes by doing her checks giving her the all clear to wear her own clothes as long as they're easy to put on and off and comfy.

Lexi had left to go and find my parents as we switched rooms so I quickly helped aria choose something to change into. The nurse thought it would be best to put her in an oversized shirt for the first few days as she wouldn't be able to stand up by herself just yet.

She ended up taking one of my shirts leaning forwards so I could brush her hair. "Quite like this princess treatment, maybe I'll come here more often", she says as I smirk. "I'm not letting you out of my sight ever again so enjoy it whilst it lasts", i reply before helping her sit back as my parents walk in.

"Aria baby so good to see you awake and well my mother says rushing over hugging her as her face scrunches. "Ma your hurting her", i say as she backs away. "I'm so sorry", she says before sitting beside her. "Don't worry about it", aria replies as my dad appears with Lexi.

"Great to see your awake", he says with a faint smile before turning to me. "We need to talk", he says as I look back at aria looking at me. "I won't be long you girls catch up", i say leaving with my dad. "Let's take this outside away from everyone", he says as we walk ourselves down the corridor.

"I see you've finally become more human", he says initiating I had taken a shower and got ready. "She made me", i reply as he laughs. "Of course she did, not even a day into waking up and she's already telling you what to do, maybe she should be the leader instead of you", he says. "Funny", i reply.

"I went by the building where aria was taken to and cleaned up the mess you made", he says. "All the bodies have been taken care of and I've let the families know about the guys on your end that had died helping", he says.

"Did you let them know that i'd help pay for the funerals, it's the least I could do", i reply as he nods. "They have all been accounted and paid for in full", he says. "How is aria"? He asks looking over. "She's doing better they removed her drip later on last night and she can finally eat and drink herself", i reply.

"She managed to change into some fresh clothes this morning before you came which is making things look better", i add. "When is she able to leave"? He asks. "Hopefully in the next few days if all goes well of course we'll have to make sure she stays in bed and make sure she doesn't go wandering and keep on top of her dressing but other than that she should be out soon", i reply.

"I'm glad she's okay, I don't know what you would have done if things ended badly on her end", he replies. "I have good news and bad news", he says as we walk outside. "Do I have a say in what news I choose"? I ask as he shrugs pulling out a box of cigarettes.

"So do you want the good news or the bad news", he says lighting a cigarette passing it to me before lighting another for himself. "I don't like where this is going", i say placing it between my lips inhaling the smoke. "Bad news it is", he says tapping the cigarette allowing the ash to fall down.

"Lexi told me about your stunt with Caleb", he says as I roll my eyes. "Course she did", i reply. "Don't you ever lay your hands on your own blood again", he says. "How dare you blame what happened to aria on him", he adds. "He should've told me", i reply.

"No he shouldn't", he says. "None of this is down to him aria asked him to keep it a secret as she wanted to surprise you and he did, he done as he was told, and your giving him the blame", he adds. "And you pull that stunt in her room whilst she's still unconscious", he says as I look down.

"I know it wasn't the best place or time", i say as he cuts me off. "There is no place or time for that it should have never happened", he replies. "That's just embarrassing you know better than to take out your anger on your own cousins", he says. "You need to work on your anger or you won't go far in life, taking it out on any small things that walk across your path", he says before taking a breath.

"I know, I have to apologise and work on it but you can't say I didn't deserve to be angry", i say looking over at him. "Of course you deserve to feel angry that son of a bitch killed your baby, my grand child and nearly killed your girlfriend who you were going to ask to be your fiancé the night of the attack", he says. "Which links into the good news", my father says as I look confused.

"The good news is me and my men were able to locate a few hiding spots where gio could be", he says. "I know you want to find him yourself and deal with him but you won't stuck in here", he says. "We checked out a couple casinos where he could be alongside hideouts and were able to find a trace", he says.

"We have gio and his men", he says as my cigarette drops.
