SOON AS Brooklyn left the building, she noticed that Wilden's car was blazing it's lights in her direction, telling her to enter the car.She stood up straight, inhaled deeply, and walked over to his car.She was clueless about his desires, but based on A massage,it seemed quite serious. She checked the neighborhood to see if anyone is watching them.

"Hello Brooklyn," Wilden called out with a grin, leaning against the rusty blue sedan that was parked awkwardly against the curb. His eyes sparkled with a mischievous glint, which she couldn't quite pinpoint the source of.

Brooklyn approached the car with caution, her heart racing in her chest. "What's this all about?" she asked, her tone more curious than alarmed.

Wilden opened the door for her with a flourish. "I've got some questions regarding Ian's disappearance. You know, the usual stuff," he said casually, his smile not quite reaching his eyes.

Brooklyn felt a knot tighten in her stomach. "I don't know anything about that," she lied, sliding into the passenger seat. The warmth from the leather interior was a stark contrast to the cold air outside.

Wilden leaned in close, his aftershave filling the space between them. "You five accused him of Alison's death to many times," he said, his voice low and serious. "They think that you and your friend could possibly trying to cover yourself "

Brooklyn's eyes widened in shock. "They think we killed her?" she whispered, her voice trembling. The weight of the accusation felt like a lead balloon in the confined space of the car.

"There might be charge on you and your friends," Wilden said, his gaze never leaving hers. "But you can't blame them for being suspicious. You guys had a history of playing with fire."

Brooklyn couldn't hold back a nervous laugh. "How do you know that? Aren't you supposed to be on suspension?" She leaned back in her seat, trying to appear nonchalant despite her racing thoughts.

Wilden's smirk grew wider, and his hand remained on her shoulder, his grip tightening slightly. "I've got friends in high places, darling. And let's just say they owe me a favor or two." He paused, his eyes searching hers for a reaction. "But I'm willing to help you, provided you cooperate."

Brooklyn swallowed hard, her mind racing. "Not only mine but also my friends charge will be gone too" she said, her voice barely above a whisper. The car's engine hummed gently as it idled, the only other sound in the eerily silent night.
