THE SCENT of freshly brewed coffee filled the air, mingling with the faint aroma of Pam's favorite cookies baking in the oven.The four of them huddle around Emily's laptop,each of them in their own little world,their gazes locked onto the flickering screen.
"Mona is trying help us"Hanna tried to convince herself more than others."Why else she would give us this ?"
"Emily is still on the phone"Aria scowled."She seemed to take it okey,didn't she ?"
"Like we should be used to hearing from ghost by now"Spencer scoffed.
"Spencer,why can't you admit that she is trying to help us ?"Hanna arched a brow at the Hastings girl.
"Hanna did you ever stop to think why Mona would want to help us ?" Spencer casted a quick glance at Hanna,seeing hope reflected in her eyes.
"Maybe she is afraid of something?"Brooke mumbled under her breath,trying to support Hanna ."Just like we were afraid of her"
With hesitation, Spencer trailed off. "I don't know"
"Yeah you don't but cops are still after our blood" Hanna rolled her eyes.
"I told you my mom will handle that"Spencer's eyebrows shot upward.
"Can she ?"Brooke gave Spencer a quick look."I hope she will but A is after us even more and she will get one of us in jail if she wants to"
"Look,whether er is this fake or not.We have to figure out what's on that site"Aria sighed.
"It was Nate"They all gave Emily a quick look before she entered her room."What did he want?"Aria asked.
"I promised to go hike up with hime to the old Boathouse"Emily took a quick look at the open laptop that was reflecting Maya's website."Told him it was Maya's favorite spot in Rosewood"
"You are not gonna tell him about this are you?" Spencer scowled her eyes
"If I did that then i would have to tell him how we know about it"Emily gave a slight shrug.
"Em what do you want us to do about it ?"Aria asked trying to be respectful. "Do you mind if we try and break into Maya's site ?"Hanna shot her friend a soft glance.
"We have to" Emily shook her head. "Okey,um- well how we get past the password ?"Brooklyn tried to break the awkward silence
"It's just password there are ways of cracking it" Spencer shrugged her shoulders while Emily paused for a moment before quickly going to the laptop.Emily's finger was lingering over the keyboard, potentially entering a password.
