Ennis had some holiday romance when she was in Italy- Pavani I think his name was- and they seem to still be in touch...

Zara has been flirting on-and-off with Brett Collins, I mean, EWW! Everyone knows me and Brett are unspoken mortal enemies.

I think Brydee likes some guy in her French class, and everyone knows that Aria can have any guy she wants. All that's left.

Me.

It sucks.

I don't mind much, though, really. Especially since my buds are, like, super nice about it. And plenty have people have asked me out, I mean, come on, I'm Sadie C! But they were all super gross, and Sadie only takes the best.

But nothing else seems to be on offer.

I guess I'll just fly solo for now, and Lace is alone too, but...that's 'cause she's a WEIRDO!

"Morning guys, how's the life?" Lacey smiled at everyone, but we all just ignored her, as always. Except Ennis. Now they seemed to be the best of buds, and I could tell Zara (Ennis's acclaimed BFF) was pretty jealous.

I butted in before things got...dicey...

"Hey, single pringles! Wanna hit the field before 1st, leave these girls to their boyfriends! " Only about half of us laughed at friends, but I nodded to Reece, Vanessa and Lacey.

Reece stepped forwards and shook her head "Jonah is setting me up with one of his friends! Sorry!" I smiled at Vanessa, and she backed away. "Jasper and I have started to...see each other again, nothing serious...but..." My last resort, as always, Lacey.

"Laces, it's your lucky day, you get me all to yourself!" But Lacey only frowned. "Actually, 'Saysay', I have a boyfriend. And he is better than any of the scum you'll be able to pry of another girl's innocent arm!" And with that outstandingly confident remark, she spun on her heels and left.

"She can't be serious!" I spluttered, and Ennis only smiled. "I heard he's called Luca?"
