"Omg...omg!" I cried out, ecstatic, in disbelief.

Aria turned to face me, and after finishing the piece of pretzel she had taken from the big bag on the centre of our lunch table, asked "What?"

I really couldn't believe it, but it was really happening to me. I showed the text that had just popped up on my phone to Aria, and she made the surprised-and-approved noise of 'Awooom!' with the mouth closed, and the eyes bulging to accompany.

But, when the bell went, still no reply.

I tried not to let it bother me, and headed off to music...with Brett.

"Okay, Sadie...would you like to start off the solo performances.?" Miss asked, smiling at me, desperately willing me to agree.

"Sure." I replied, and headed up to the other end of the room, next to the large, black, grand.

I opened my mouth and willed myself to sing, and sure enough, the words started to flow out.

"...This is Gospel for the fallen ones, locked away in permanent slumber...assembling their philosophies, from pieces of broken memories..."
