The Inside Joke #3

This was it, I was set for life. An awesome group of lovelies, two freaking cool BFF's and a nasty joke under my belt. What joke...well, I'll tell you...let me take you back about a week ago...
"Biatches, please! I have the sassiest selfie face, choke on it, you mortal scum!" Ennis declared over the small feast that the girls had concocted for their lunch. By now, they were sharing food, spilling secure secrets and pulling the most incriminating selfie faces that you would never have thought them a bunch of socially awkward nerds...well, not all of them...not the big 3. They were sat a little distance away from the rest of the gang, in their little mini, inner group, discussing a confidential prank.

"Have you noticed...Lacey has been acting a little...differently lately?" Aria piped up, popping oreo's in her mouth, during the process. Both of her best friends turned to her, a little perplexed. "What do you mean?" Reece asked calmly, but Sadie quickly added "She's getting fat?"
"Sadie!"
There sweet looking friend turned around, looking as innocent as an angel. "What?" She smiled, naively, and the other girls just frowned, shaking their heads. "No," Aria persisted. "I meant- and what do you mean fat? She's like the skinniest here!" She cried, and Sadie turned, going full actor mode, and flicking her hair, replaying, mockingly "Second skinniest." The girls couldn't help but laugh, she truly sounded serious, and after a moment, the false exterior cracked, and Sadie joined in the laughter, saying. "Aw, guys. What would you do without me, and Aria...you're skinny!"
"Thanks, but what I was saying was...wait, Saysay? Do you really think she's put on wait, you know...size 0 to size 2 and all?" Her facial expression was hard to read, but a little, devious smile cropped up just under her eyes. Sadie answered slowly. "Um, I dunno...I don't think so...I was just taking a guess?"
Now even Reece was giving Aria her full attention, "Where are you going with this?"
"I mean...fake pregnancy scandal?" Al, the girls smiled wickedly, looking round the mini circle at each other. "Let's do this."

So that's how this all started, so we kept asking her if she was okay, if she needed to sit down, even if she had a secret. But she didn't get it at first...until Ari blabbed. But that's a story for another chapter, so read on if you want to find out! Bye, love Reece! Back to you, Soph!
