THINGS HAD BEEN REALLY GOOD SINCE EVERYTHING THAT HAPPEN-ED LAST YEAR. Cindy has had the opportunity to finally live her life again and take back the years she lost.

She had spent more time with Dustin, seeing movies and just spending as much time together. Cindy has had a pretty big growth spurt and is now taller than Dustin, she used to be just a little shorter and it took a while for him to get over as he liked being the slightly taller one.

It was finally summer, and Cindy absolutely loved summer. Although Dustin had been gone to his camp for a month and she missed him dearly, but she got to see him tomorrow and she couldn't wait.

She's mostly been fourth wheeling Max, Lucas, Mike and Will. Although Mike and Will aren't together, she felt small sparks and she could tell Will liked Mike, but she didn't say anything, just allowed them to remain oblivious. It's not for her to get into.

Cindy, Lucas, Will and Max were waiting for Mike outside the new Starcourt mall, as they were going to the movies, like they do all the time since Steve gives them a free ride into the back of the cinema and they don't have to buy tickets.

Mike eventually pulled up on his bike, puffed out. "You're late," Lucas sighed.

"Sorry!"

"Again."

"We're gonna miss the opening," Will complained.

"Yeah, if you keeping whining about it. Let's go!" Mike retorted.

"If you guys keep whining about it. Nyeh-nyeh-nyeh," Lucas mocked in a high pitched voice.

"Just please stop talking, dude," Mike said embarrassed, pushing Lucas in the mall.

"Let me guess. You were busy," Lucas smacks his lips, kissing the air.

"Oh, yeah, real mature, Lucas," Mike groaned.

"Oh, El, I wish we could make out forever, and never hang out with any of our friends." Lucas pined in a high pitched voice, mocking Mike.

"Lucas, stop." Cindy rolled her eyes.

"Will thinks it's funny," Lucas points out.

"Because it is," Will replied through his laughter.

"Yeah, it's so funny that I want to spend romantic time with my girlfriend." Mike sassed.

"I'm spending romantic time with my girlfriend," Lucas mentions, wrapping his arm around Max.

"I miss Dustin," Cindy groaned.

They then began pushing through the crowd to get to the movies quickly, they were late enough as it is and Lucas had been complaining about missing the previews, which isn't a big deal.

"Watch it, nerd!" Lucas' younger sister, Erica, shouts.

"Isn't it past your bedtime?" Lucas questioned.

"Isn't it time you died?"

"Psycho!"

"Butthead!"

"Mall rat!"

"Fart face!" He blows a raspberry back at her.

Max grabbed his arm, embarrassed. "Oh, now that was mature."

They headed inside scoops ahoy and Mike dinged the bell on the counter and Steve's co-worker that Cindy had grown to love, Robin Buckley, was working behind the counter.

"Hey, dingus, your children are here," she called out, staring at them annoyed.

Steve opened the window from the back, "again? Seriously?
