A business-woman with a painful past that haunts her. She is emotionless and unmoved, or that is what she...
Today, Anisha's wedding functions begin, finally. Starting with mehendi, haldi, sangeet, shaadi and lastly, reception and Anisha wants me to stick by her side every second. Apparently, she is anxious, happy, nervous and excited all at once and her silly rants just makes me shake my head in amusement. I also want to cherish all these moments and feelings that Anisha is having because I doubt, I will ever have such a fortune. I can't even imagine myself being loved the way Aarav loves Anisha and neither do I think I am capable of loving someone the way Anisha does. She is full of love. Heck, I don't think I can even say out the word love aloud.
"Dhivu, get out of your mind-land and go and get ready. The to-be bride, aka me, is even ready before you are. People would laugh if they know that the bride is the first one to get ready," Anisha chuckles and shakes her head side to side.
"Yes, I am going. Just came to check if you need anything. Now, if you don't, I will take my leave to go get ready for my best friends mehendi," I say and walk out to get ready.
.
I am all ready and going towards the hall where the function will take place to see if everything is going well (Anisha's orders). The decorations are beautiful. I see a child crying, looking around as if he is lost.
Just as I am walking towards him, I bump into a wall. Wall? I am never clumsy. What the hell, Dhivti? I look up only to find the man who has started to make me feel. Yes, feel. Things that I don't know either. Jahaan Joshi. 'Let me in, Dhivti.' That's what this man had said and I was so close to put my walls down just a little bit but I couldn't. My fear of appearing weak overpowered my will to submit to him.
"Careful, Dhivti," he says and I realize I'm still holding his shoulders that I used to prevent myself from falling while his hands are holding me from my waist. I immediately pull away and look away while murmuring a small thank you.
A minute passes and I don't hear anything from him which makes me look towards him only to find him staring at me so intensely, my heart starts to beat fast. "You look beautiful," he says and my eyes wander to him as well, noticing what he is wearing. I have never seen a man as attractive as Jahaan Joshi. Not that I will ever tell him that. I am seeing him wearing ethnic for the first time and I wonder how this human is able to pull up all kinds of clothes.

I just pass by him giving no reply to him.
"Dhivti," he calls me out and I turn towards him. "Yes?" He just smiles and walks towards me, his smile constant. What is he up to now? "I can see progress," he says which makes me frown in confusion.
"You are no longer confining me from using your first name to call you, miss Dhivti," my eyes snap to him as soon as he says my name. Shit. How did I not realize that? He winks at me and walks away. Did he just wink at me?
