-Dhivti-
"Two days? How can I stay over for two days?"
"Why not?" Anisha asks.
She wants me to stayover at her place to spend time with her as if we don't meet every day.
Aarav got discharged today.
"Because you are married now, Anisha and it will be very awkward," I argue.
"C'mon yaar, Dhivti. I am your best friend and Aarav is like your brother."
I sigh.
"Anisha, I really have a lot of pending work."
"You can work from my place also. Please yaar, Dhivti," I open my mouth to argue again, No. I am not leaving from here without you," she continues before I can say anything.
I try to argue again but all in vain.
I forgot that Anisha gets what she wants. Always.
I shake my head.
"How are you now, Aarav?" I ask first thing as I reach their place and Aarav greets me.
"I am much better," he gives me a soft smile.
For dinner, we ordered pizza and Anisha is looking for a binge-worthy movie to watch while eating. Oh, and she has been looking for a movie since the past twenty minutes. Twenty.
"Am I late?" I freeze.
Jahaan Joshi?
I look towards Anisha and she gives me a sheepish smile. This bitch.
She tricked me. She didn't tell me he was also joining us.
I glare at her and she gives me a sorry look.
"No no, come sit. We were just about to begin to eat," Aarav says.
I hear footsteps coming nearer to me and they stop right next to me.
He takes a seat right beside me.
Oh god. Why is my heart is beating so fast? what the hell is this man doing to me?
We have all sat on the floor so it can be easier to watch the movie and Jahaan is right besides me.
I can sense his gaze at me and suddenly, I feel so nervous.
"C'mon let us eat. I am so hungry," Anisha speaks.
She chose the movie, Hasee Toh Phasee.
After dinner, Anisha suggests to play truth and dare.
Of course, I tried to escape but Anisha is a different kind of stubborn today. What the hell is wrong with her?
"Okay okay, spin the bottle," Aarav, Anisha says.
He spins and the bottle stops on Anisha.
Aarav sits opposite Anisha so he gets to ask.
"Truth or dare, baby?" Aarav smirks and Anisha rolls her eyes.
"Dare," she flips her hair, dramatically. I just shake my head at her antics.
"I dare you to make Dhivti laugh," I frown and Anisha gasps.
"Aarav, that is so unfair. Dhivti Verma does not even smile let alone laugh." She huffs..
Why is this about me, again?
"Why? You chose dare and you are backing off now?" Aarav says.
"It is Dhivti, yaar," she whines.
"Do you guys realize that I am right here and I can hear you?" I speak.
