Hunter

It was a gambit of mindset. Maya and I knew that our plan could not be put to a halt just because international relations were at risk or that tourist destinations were turning into grave lands. We could not care less.

Japan was going bonkers. Meetings with professional crime case detectives and the BVO were getting constant yet useless. The whole world knew that there was a monster in Japan, the right kind, serving justice.

The only problem I and Maya were facing was that the bullying in schools had stopped completely. It was getting harder for us to trace any more bullies. They were either getting sent abroad or having their identities changed.

Maya would follow them to hell just to kill them. And I would follow her wherever she goes. Maya was precise about killing but now- our legendary plan did not only include the bullies of school but the whole world.

We were after people, anyone who had committed atrocities. Politicians, businessmen, billionaires, lawyers, political authorities, and now our main target was the police chief of the biggest unit in Japan.

He was known to be a rapist and support a country that committed continuous war crimes. Ayah hated that specific country and was after everyone who supported that country.

I sighed and sat back in the car seat. "Now?" I asked getting impatient.

She ignored my whole existence and kept looking outside of the window. She was focused on when she would be able to get inside the auditorium. The police chief will hold a board meeting today regarding our issue. Not knowing we would be his executor for today.

I only killed and knew how to kill, but Maya's brain did not fail to astonish me. She planned dirty and genius. She was bid by no rules. No one ever all along was able to find any evidence against us, not even a single hair of her head.

What annoyed the ones who hated us was that, there was no one in a suspect in the custody.

"Are you sure there are so suspects?" I asked her.

She nodded, her attention still on the gate of the auditorium. "They have no evidence against us and that's what's getting them crazy."

I chuckled. "I am proud of them for not making up suspects to calm the citizen outrage." I sat back down closing my eyes.

She looked out a for while, then signaled me. I looked at her.

"He is here." She whispered.

I nodded and grabbed my pen putting it inside my pocket. She noticed it and looked at me. "That's all you need to kill him?" She asked cocking her eyebrows at me.

I nodded. Her face looked like she wanted to slap the mug out of my face but stayed calm. Turning around, she opened the door and went outside. I followed behind her. We will be entering through the back gates. The security is not as tight there. Yet, I had no idea she would get us there without getting caught.

She slid into the crowd normally, blending in perfectly. I kept track of her. When she found the opportunity, she slipped out and went as close as she could to the guard. She put her hood on and chewed her gum loudly while looking at her phone, making it obvious that she was a brat teenager.

The guarded side eyed her. After he turned his attention away from her, Maya purposely bumped into him. She apologized and bowed, turning her heels and coming towards me. I smirked at her. I was still standing at a corner not too far from the road from which the police chief would come.

"What the heck are you standing here for?" She raged lightly.

I smiled. "I am just appreciating your skills," I said looking at her hand which held the cocaine she stole from the guard. Maya was sly and neatly committed her crimes.

She held my hoodie pulling me close as she looked into my eyes. "I have even better skills in shutting that mouth of yours," She gritted.

I raised my eyebrows. ''Do show me, sometimes."

She threw me with all her strength, frustrated and huffing. I laughed. I love pissing her off. She tried not to make it obvious that she almost killed me back there. She opened the cocaine bag, and poured some close to the guard, making sure the smell reached him. She had come here a few times to study the surroundings which proves that she studied the guards too.

The smell reached them soon. I brushed myself and stood up going close to her. Thankfully, her anger settled as she focused on the guards going crazy trying to find the drug. They looked around, like dogs going crazy in heat.

When they moved just enough, she held my hoodie hands and without a sound, slipped in. She managed to steal the guard's ID pass as well as cocaine. I was impressed. She pressed the pass the door opened revealing a robotic hallway mostly made of steel and weird electronics sticking to the walls.

The lights were dim. It looked like some kind of a tunnel.

"I'll chip the micro recorder to the table, you distract the chief and bring him to the washroom. We part ways here.'' She said. Although she wore a white shirt tucked in and black jeans with rolled-up sleeves, she did not look like a staff member.

I held her hand. "Don't get caught," I said.

"I say that to you," She said, let my hand and to my utter surprise, went inside the auditorium opening the door, without anyone questioning her.

I tilted my head. "Damn," I whispered.

I went to the bathroom and took out my pen. We can kill someone with one blow if we target the two main organs of the human body. The brain and the heart. The brain is protected by the skull and the heart is protected by the ribcage. To kill someone, we have to first destroy the protection and then the organ so technically it takes two blows.

The best way to kill someone in one blow is with a pen. There is a part at the neck where there is a connection of the heart to the brain. It's a nerve that pumps blood to the brain. It's a sensitive part and I can easily plunge a pen in there.

It would be smooth and easy. That is what I plan to do with the chief. I am not alone. I have Maya with me this time and this place is a little tight in security so we can't take risk.   She is probably done setting the microchip.

That will help us use some leaked information.

I heard footsteps coming towards the washroom, so I went inside one of the stalls. I looked down. Those were the Chief's boots. I sighed and tipped the pen making the nip come out.

Before I went out, Maya came in the stall.

"What the heck," He said. "This is a men's bathroom, lady."

"I know," She said. I could hear her huffing in panic. "I had some business here."

I took it as a signal and came out. I smiled at him when he realized we surrounded him. Before he could talk, I kicked him from behind on the backside of his knee. He knelt in front of Maya. Before he could scream or do anything she put a needle on his neck which silenced him, making him unable to speak.

I plunged the pen into the designated place. Though the work could be done here. It did not. He alerted authorities and security through a button in his pocket before closing his eyes.

Maya cursed under her breath. I looked at her as sirens blared across the auditorium. People's footsteps could be heard outside. I closed my eyes in frustration. We were about to hide but the door busted open as I locked eyes with a young man with shining eyes, a beautiful face, dark big eyes, and a disheveled appearance.
