Chapter Sixteen: Dallas's Song
Episode Five: Boo, Bitch

Dallas's POV

It was almost halloween. It was around the time the girls take off the long skirts and replace them for slutty tops and mini skirts. Or at least some girls. I grumbled softly, looking at my hair. Ginny was right, why had I washed out the silk press. Grabbing my curling custard I applied it to my first section at the back, running my fingers through it before grabbing my brush and detangling, end first.

I quickly did my eyeliner, smudging some dark eyeshadow on my lids before blowing a kiss at myself in the mirror and leaving.

"Good morning lovely family." I spoke. "Morning. Ooh, grab the hot sauce." Momma directed. I nodded, going to the cabinet and grabbing it. The lights then flickered. "ouu spooky house." I teased. Ginny, yet again, was not having it.

"We can afford an electrician, right? This isn't gonna be like Maryland, where we used flashlights for a month?" Ginny asked mom. "That was fun!" Austin argued. "Flashlight tag!" He continued. "Oh yeah. Poverty's a hoot." Ginny spoke, eating some of the scrambled eggs momma had made. "Don't spoil his fun." I told her.

Momma always found away to brighten up bad situations. Even though I know now we were going through deep shit, at least it didn't ruin me then. It isn't right for Austin to know how much we struggled and are struggling still. He's still a kid.

We sat down, eating breakfast and talking. The chat was paused by the sound of my notification. "Maxie sent me a link." I spoke, opening my phone. "Maxi? Like maxi pad?" Momma joked. "Yup, I am never calling her that again." I said before clicking the link.

The video was titled 'Dallas's Song' and it showed Hunter singing. Then it showed me, in utter shock. My cheeks were so pink. "Wow." Mom spoke. "definite wow." Ginny chimed but there was something laced underneath it. I couldn't catch it.

"You're internet famous now." Momma spoke to me. "I'm living with Logan Paul." She continued. "Really?" I questioned her choice of person. "Ew Logan Paul?" Ginny spoke at the same time. "Only one I know." Momma confessed.
