Chapter Thirty Six: How Could She?
Episode Ten: The Worst Betrayal Since Jordan and Kylie

Dallas sat by her window, taking in the cooling breeze as she looked down. "Plum?" Georgia questioned. Dallas didn't turn around. "What happened?" Georgia asked. "Who beat Ginny up?" She continued. "I did." Dallas spoke. "What?" Georgia asked. "Turns out she was sleeping with my ex-boyfriend." Dallas said, tears falling out of her eyes.

"I'm sorry what?" Georgia asked, sitting next to her daughter. From the corner of her eyes she noticed bent razors as well as a beat up lighter. Dallas noticed her looking. "I destroyed so I couldn't self harm." Dallas said with a sad chuckle which soon turned into sobs.

"How could she?" Dallas whimpered, her head resting on the window frame. "Dallas." Georgia said. "I don't want comfort momma." Dallas said. "Marcus has solved that already." Dallas said, looking out the window towards the Baker's house.

"He's a good guy. I'm sorry for fighting you on him." Georgia said. Dallas nodded. "Can I get therapy, momma?" She asked. Georgia sighed. "Therapy's no good." Georgia spoke. "How do you know that?" Dallas asked. She wasn't crying anymore. She was tired. So tired.

When she didn't get a response Dallas sighed. "Alright. Whatever." Dallas said, getting up and grabbing her clothes off the floor. "Dallas.." Her mother called. "Can I just be..left alone?" Dallas asks. "Okay. Okay baby." Georgia nods, leaving.

Dallas quickly packed a bag. She packed her clothes, some shoes, and anything else she need. She then climbed out of the window, heading for Marcus's. Climbing up she knocked on the window. "Dallas?" Marcus asks, opening the window for her. Dallas climbed in, throwing her bag on the floor with a huff.

"Marcus. I'm leaving." Dallas says. "L-leaving? Leaving for where?" Marcus asks. "My dad's. I just..can't be in Wellsbury. Not right now." Dallas says. "Mae." Marcus spoke. "I'm gonna come back I swear." Dallas spoke. "Can I ask you something?" Marcus questions. "Yeah." Dallas nods.

"What where you gonna tell me..the day Sophie broke up with Maxine?" Marcus asks. Dallas chuckles, wiping her eyes. "I was..gonna tell you that I love you.." Dallas asked, tilting her head and fiddling with her fingers. "You tell me that all the time." Marcus says, stepping closer.

"I was gonna tell you that..this time was different." Dallas spoke as he moved closer, cupping her cheek. "Can I..kiss you?" Marcus asks. Dallas smiles. "Yeah." She nods. Marcus slowly bends down, bringing her into a soft kiss. Dallas placed her hand on his chest, the other one on his neck. She slowly pulled away, leaving him with quick peppered kisses.
