"As they placed the varmala around each other's necks, a shower of flower petals descended from above, filling the air with a festive fragrance. The crowd erupted in cheers, their joyous voices echoing through the hall. Amidst the celebration, Satakshi's gaze lingered on the cascading petals, momentarily captivated by their delicate beauty. For a fleeting moment, she allowed herself to get lost in their descent, a brief escape from the heaviness in her heart, while Darsh stood beside her, his expression unreadable amidst the applause."

"After the varmala ceremony, Darsh and Satakshi were seated on a beautifully decorated couch as guests approached to offer their blessings and gifts. Polite smiles masked their inner turmoil as they endured the ritualistic formalities. Once this was over, they were escorted to the dining area, where they shared dinner with their families. The atmosphere was filled with chatter and laughter, contrasting sharply with the silence between them. As dinner concluded, music filled the air, and guests began to dance. Romantic songs played, and the crowd clamored for Darsh and Satakshi to join in. However, both were hesitant. Satakshi, feeling overwhelmed, claimed exhaustion as an excuse, and Darsh quietly supported her choice by staying seated.

As the night progressed and the crowd thinned, only close relatives and family remained. Some gathered for lighthearted conversations, while others settled into a quiet slumber. Darsh and Satakshi sat with their cousins, attempting to blend in. Abhinav, ever the extrovert, plopped down beside Satakshi, engaging her in cheerful banter that occasionally drew a reluctant smile. The chill of the night settled in, and Satakshi instinctively rubbed her arms, trying to warm herself. Darsh returned from the restroom, noticing her discomfort. Without a word, he draped his sherwani's shawl around her shoulders. The gesture, though simple, caught the attention of Meenu, who observed the moment with a knowing smile, silently praying for warmth to grow between them beyond the shawl's fabric."

AT 4 O'CLOCK IN THE MORNING:-

"The atmosphere was solemn as the couple was escorted to the mandap for the pheras. The ceremonial fire crackled softly, its glow reflecting on the tired but eager faces of family members. The kanyadan ceremony began, marking an emotional turning point.

Satakshi's father gently placed her hand in Darsh's, pouring holy water over them. Satakshi's tears fell freely as she realized the magnitude of the moment. Her father, though trying to remain composed, couldn't entirely mask his emotions. His trembling hands and misty eyes spoke volumes of the love and care he had for his daughter. With the completion of kanyadan, the pandit ji began reciting the vows for the pheras. Darsh and Satakshi walked around the fire, taking each step as the pandit explained the meaning of every vow."
