"From the past few days, Meenu had sensed a growing distance between Darsh and Satakshi. Their silence and avoidance of each other didn't go unnoticed. Meenu felt disheartened, wondering what had gone wrong. Not long ago, the two were getting closer, starting to understand and care for each other. What could have possibly created this rift? Rajiv noticed Meenu's gloom and asked her about it. She shared her worries about Satakshi and Darsh, expressing her concern over their growing distance. Though both were troubled by this, they felt helpless, unsure of how to intervene."
"Days passed, and Satakshi finally gathered the courage to confront Mohit. Determined, she approached Darsh hesitantly. Her heart pounded as she stood before him, searching for the right words."
Satakshi: vo... mujhe aapse kuch baat krni h.
"Darsh, sensing her seriousness, put aside his laptop and looked at her. His voice was calm but carried the weight of their recent awkwardness."
Darsh: hn bolo.
"The tension between them hung heavy in the air. It had been days since they'd had a real conversation, and the strain was evident. Summoning her resolve, Satakshi spoke, her voice faltering slightly."
Satakshi: mujhe mohit se bt krni h, mtlb... ek br janna h ki uski side ki story kya thi.
Darsh felt a pang of sadness but masked it well. His tone remained neutral as he responded: hnn, fr?
Satakshi avoided his gaze, her voice barely above a whisper as she continued: pr m call pe nhi.. face-to-face baat krna cahhti hu usse. Call pe idea nhi lg pata h ki koi sch bol rha h ya jhut.. islie... kya aap?
Darsh's chest tightened at her request, but he nodded, his voice steady despite the turmoil within: accha. Hn, m arrange krta hu kuch.
"Satakshi offered him a weak smile—a pretense to mask her own inner conflict—and walked over to the bed. She lay down, her thoughts swirling. Darsh, however, was left alone with his emotions. His mind was a chaotic storm of feelings he couldn't fully grasp. He leaned back, closing his eyes in an attempt to calm himself, and eventually, sleep took over."
IN THE MORNING:-
"Darsh left for work early, but Satakshi's words from the previous night lingered in his mind. After some contemplation, he decided to call Mohit. The phone rang a few times before Mohit answered. Darsh's voice was strained as he recounted how Satakshi wanted to talk and meet face-to-face. The words "face-to-face" felt like a knife twisting in his chest, but he managed to get them out. On the other end, Mohit sounded thrilled. He eagerly suggested they meet at his house, but the mere mention of "house" struck a nerve in Darsh. His anger erupted."
Darsh: Mohit! Apni limit m reh! Maine tere aur satakshi ke baat krne ke lie kuch nhi kha kuki m cahhta hu ki satakshi aur hurt na ho. Lkin bs itna hi! Isse zyada m kuch sehen nhi krunga. Aur ye mt bhool, Jise tu apne ghr bulane ki bt kr rha h, vo meri patni h!
Mohit, taken aback, tried to explain himself calmly: Darsh, mera kuch glt mtlb nhi tha. Jo baat hme krni h, vo hm kisi public place m nhi kr skte h. Satakshi gussa ho skti h, chilla skti h, ya ro skti h. Ye sb bhr nhi ho skta na. Aur vse bhi, teri vjhse satakshi ko sb jaante h. Aur media ko bhot interest aaega ye janne m, ki india ke top industrialist ki patni kisi aur aadmi ke sth kya bt kr rhi h. Ye time emotional nhi, practical hokr sochne ka h.
Darsh, though still irritated, paused and let Mohit's reasoning sink in. His tone softened, but his resolve remained firm: pr tere ghr nhi.
Mohit: pr tere ghr bhi toh nhi jaa skte h na. Vha aunty or uncle sb hi honge.
