Hello everyone! Please read the notes below before reading the story! Thank you :)

Just a few notes before we begin, first about the story itself. This story continues from where we left off in Hogwarts Legacy, so if you haven't played the game yet, it may contain spoilers and/or you might be missing some references.

Please consider that in this story, the main character began her adventure at Hogwarts in her 6th year. All characters are aged up to 17-18 years old and will soon all be adults. Before moving on into the 7th year, we will go over the end of 6th year, and a small part of the summer between the two school years. The first few chapters will be taking place right after Solomon's death. The reason for their age is simply because in this story, we will eventually explore mature themes, and I wanted to keep things "appropriate".

Also note to avoid confusion in the book, you will see that the MC would've defeated Ranrok before Sebastian killed Solomon. That is personally what I did in my last playthrough, I kept Sebastian's end of questline for the end, and that is also the way I went for this story. I decided not to go over the game's main storyline again, as I wanted to focus on her relationship with Sebastian, amongst other things.

In here, our main character will be Maude Ainsley. We'll explore her backstory a lot more through the story (I personally think HL skipped on that part, but I guess it gives a good freedom of creativity for all writers out there!) Feel free to use whatever name you prefer every time the MC's name is mentioned. I considered just using y/n and y/l/n, but as I wanted to dive deeper into MC's backstory and life before Hogwarts, it just felt more personal to me to name her. As there will be mention of some of her family members, it is also easier for me not to get lost!

Now some notes about me... I've read a lot of stories here, for quite a few years now and never published one. This is my first one, please consider that I am not a native English speaker. I'll do my best, but feel free to correct me if something bugs you!

I'll try to write often and update a lot; I personally hate waiting on new chapters when I read! But I'm also working on a book outside of Wattpad, which is taking a lot of my time too.

Lastly, the biggest credit goes to Portkey Games and Warner Bros. for the Hogwarts Legacy game. Also, to everything that's coming from the Wizarding World Lore.
