"Let's cut the fake front, Eileen." I said as I closed the door behind me. "What are you doing here at Hogwarts?"
"Alright..." She breathed out as she got up from her chair. "I am here for you, if that is why you imply."
"Came to kill me?" I rolled my eyes upwards.
"No, no need to worry yourself. I did need to do some killing in order to get this spot, but I don't plan on piling up the bodies." She smirked.
Professor Burrow. It was her, of course.
"Did the Gaunts send you?"
"No, I don't work with them anymore. That alliance stopped the moment they killed my brother and father." She let out, her previously arrogant grin changed into a vengeful one.
"How... Barbarus? He died yes, but he was at the ministry when it happened." I said.
"But they don't know what caused his death, do they?" Eileen walked over to me and sat on the bench next to the one she previously pointed. "It was Marvolo. You would think he is wise, but no. That man is just vicious!"
I finally sat down, but remained silent. I felt like it was not yet time to ask questions and that Eileen still had plenty to say.
"Nobody noticed, but I did." She started. "When Tom came with Veronica, he casted his ancient magic at Marvolo. That blast normally would've killed him but it didn't."
"I... yes, I think I remember." I realised.
"He survived because he diverted it. Marvolo learned about ancient magic a while back, because of his father. I don't know, but he learned to use other wizard's magic as a shield, but it has a cost. When he did, no one could tell, but the blast went into Barbarus instead."
"How come he didn't die on the spot, then?"
"As I said, it has a cost. From what I learned, it can work with most kind of magic, but usually the blast get diverted into the closest person in the room that you care about. But Marvolo is vicious as I said, he..."
"He doesn't love or care for anyone." I spoke. "But his father? And Ominis was there!"
"He doesn't care. You can choose not to believe me, I know you must be dreaming about scratching my eyes out right now and that to you I must be equally as evil as him, but even I have feelings. You will never understand what my brother meant to me." She confessed.
A weird feeling creeped out on me, at the fact that I was somewhat having a civil heart-to-heart conversation with my lethal aunt.
"I think that Marvolo values power. At that moment, I guess Barbarus was important to achieve his goal, whatever it is. Or it could've been any one in the room really. Funny thing is that I thought you would've been the one struck with it. No matter what is plan is, I would bet you will be part of it." She confessed.
"I think so too. Clearly it won't be the last I see him." I sighed.
"No, and I count on it." She exclaimed. "I want revenge for my brother, and you will help me with it."
I got up, now back on my guard as the heartfelt conversation was over.
"Why would I do that?" I asked. "Unless you plan on forcing me?"
"No, no need for threats." She got up too and let out a soft chuckle. "But I have something you desperately wants."
Eileen took her wand out and with a swift movement in the air, a glowing blue shard appeared. I slowly reached for it, not sure if this was real but when my fingers came in contact with the object, I felt my mind disappearing into a blur again, before the vision appeared.
