Meeting a Freshman

Y/n is awoken by knocking coming from the door.

Rolling out of bed and landing on her feet, she goes to answer it while smoothing her hair out,

'I pack extra shoes, but no hair brush... ehh, my hair's a bit messy anyway so it should be fine.'

Opening the door, Ruggie is standing there wearing different, much more formal looking clothes than yesterday.

"Are you going to school wearing that?"

"It's either this or the robe, and I ain't wearing the robe."

Leaving the door open so Ruggie can come in, the Devil Fruit user goes back to look around at the area of the bed and looks for her shoes that she had kicked off somewhere. As she's looking around, she starts conversing with Ruggie,

"Is there anything I need to know for school? This is my first time going to one!"

"Ohhh boy, going from pirate life to school life... maybe you should tell Crowley you've never been to school before."

The hyena boy feels sorry for her, in comparison to all the adventures she's told him about school is a complete change of pace... would she even get used to this?

He leans onto the doorframe and continues,

"You won't be going to classes just yet though, you'll still be spending the day checking out other dorms. Lucky bastards, they'll get to skip classes with no consequences by showin' you around."

Finding and putting on her shoes, the two make their way out of the dorm and pass several other students on the way. Again, they lower their volume once she gets near them. The first time it happened she thought it was weird, but now it just annoys her.

As they stand before the mirror, they wait until most of the students have passed through. The woman turns to Ruggie,

"Welp, time to see what happens the fourth time!"

And without waiting to hear his response, she jumps through the mirror.

She has the same reaction.

Despite trying to keep herself together, literally, she still struggles as much as the previous attempt to stay solid. Still, she doesn't falter and waits for the hyena boy who arrives shortly after her. Opening his mouth to say something, he quickly shuts it before pointing towards her,

"Um, you're doing that... thing..."

"Like I said before, I'll be fine, no worries."

Finally, it stops and the two proceed walking towards the school.

'Wow... it looks even bigger during the day. Actually, all the buildings are pretty big here, and far away from each other. Those mirrors are supposed to teleport us to shorten the distance, couldn't they have made it a lil' closer to the actual school building?'

As they walk up a few stairs and make their way to Main Street, Ruggie pulls her out of her thoughts,

"The next dorm you're supposed to go to is Octavinelle, want me to give you a heads-up about them?"

"Nah, it's more fun going in without knowing anything!"

Ruggie can only smile and shake his head at her attitude.

Arriving at Main Street, he explains to the Devil Fruit user how he can either wait with her until a student of Octavinelle comes to pick her up, or they can look for the Housewarden together before he needs to head to classes.

However, Y/n stops paying attention half-way through.
