The Past and Future

Exiting the Monstro Lounge Y/n sees it's a straight path to the Hall of Mirrors, meaning she isn't getting lost anytime soon. Taking a few steps, she comes to a halt as she realizes something,

"... damn it! I forgot to ask where to next, or even who to look for."

Weighing out the options of trying to find it on her own or going back in, the woman doesn't get the chance to decide as her thoughts are interrupted by yelling,

"Piranha~!"

Before she can turn around, Floyd jumps onto her back and glomps her. Instinctively, Y/n grabs onto his thighs to stop him from falling off her.

"Ohhh, You didn't even budge a bit! You really are strong, Piranha~!"

"Hey Floyd! Do you know where I'm supposed to go? I kinda forgot to ask, haha!"

Adjusting himself so he's in a more comfortable position and resting his head on top of hers, he points towards the path forward,

"I can bring ya to sea otter or sea snake, whoever we find first."

Thanking him, the Devil Fruit user makes her way back to the Hall of Mirrors, still carrying the disorganized twin.

'I guess he really likes being carried... well, if it makes him happy, I can carry him around!'

Unfortunately, Y/n doesn't think her decision through when she steps through the mirror and almost drops Floyd. Determined not to drop him, she barely manages to keep herself together to hold onto him.

While the Devil Fruit user runs through Main Street and up the stairs to the school, the disorganized twin is having the time of his life. Finally inside the school once more, Y/n tilts her head up slightly to "look" at Floyd and asks where they were heading now.

Following the direction he points in, the two unaware of how funny they look with how short the woman is in comparison to the disorganized twin, they run past the students who automatically step out of their way. While running past these students, for a short moment Y/n slows down as she gets the strange feeling of being observed, not looked at, but as quickly as it comes it leaves again.

Jumping off her at the same and dragging her by the shoulders in the direction of a classroom, Floyd starts shouting,

"Yoo! Sea snake!"

Right in front the classroom door, a boy with tan skin and long silky hair flinches, then reluctantly turns to their direction with closed eyes,

"*sigh* what is it, Floyd-",

He cuts himself off as he spots the Devil Fruit user, who waves at him,

"Ah, you must be Y/n, right?"

A bit disappointed at the boys calm reaction and surprised that he already knows who she is, Floyd asks,

"Eh? How'd you know Piranha already?"

The boy shakes his head as he places a hand on his temple,

"Kalim talked a lot about her."

Before Floyd can question where she knows Kalim from, Y/n's eyes light up as she recognizes the name,

"Oh yeah! I helped him when he got set on fire."

"So I've heard, thank you for helping him. I assume Floyd brought you here so you can tour our dorm?"

Seeing the woman nod, he continues,

"Let's go pick up Kalim so we can get started. I'm Jamil Viper, the Vice Housewarden of Scarabia."
