New Sights and Old Dreams

Finally reaching the castle that the school is, the woman enters and is surrounded by a multitude of students who whispers amongst themselves and stare at her in confusion and surprise.

Not paying them any mind, Y/n starts running in a random direction trying to distinguish two tall identical looking people from the crowd.

'Tall people... tall people... c'mon, if that's one of they're only distinguishing features then they gotta be a good bit taller than everyone else... '

Running past several rooms and the cafeteria, she runs past two tall and teal haired guys. Coming to a complete halt as soon as she realizes that, the young woman takes a few steps backwards to where they are. Now standing in front of them, her gaze keeps switching between the the two to make sure they're the right guys.

'Tall, same arm band, same face and hair... actually wait, their hair streak and eye colors are mirrored, not completely identical.'

While the woman is focused, the twins exchange a glance and converse among themselves.

"Eh? Why did she go from runnin' around to just starin' at us and not saying anything?"

"Hm. I think this is the Girl Azul is wanted us to-"

Hearing the name is enough to snap Y/n out of her thoughts.

"Hey! Yeah, that's me! I'm Y/n, nice to meet ya!"

From what Azul had told the twins about her, they were expecting her to be quite different. The more organized looking one gives her a polite smile and speaks first,

"I'm Jade Leech, and this is my brother Floyd. Azul is waiting for you in our dorm, though we'll be the ones showing you around on your tour."

"Alrighty, lead the way!"

The twins go to move to be at both her sides, as they make their way back outside and head towards the Hall of Mirrors. Unbeknownst to her, the twins are exchanging more glances as if silently communicating.

Now outside, with fewer students around Floyd leans down to her level as he places his arm around her shoulder,

"Hey~ I heard Azul and some others say you did some weird trick and made some extra arms, can you show me?"

Not bothered by his mannerisms, she goes with it,

"Sure! But I can do more than that!"

It was now the organized twins turn to ask,

"Oh really? I thought you didn't have any magic though?"

"I don't, I'm from another world and magic doesn't exist where I'm from. My powers are from a devil fruit I ate."

Her explanation catches the twins interest, but both for different reasons. Entering the Hall of Mirrors, Jade tries to inquire,

"A Devil fruit...? I don't think I've-",

Before he can though, his twin interrupts him and shakes the Devil Fruit user,

"Whoa, another world? What kind of world are you from?"

Y/n needs to think for a moment, how could she best describe her world and the era she came from that isn't the same as here?

"... I'm from a pirate world!",

The twins stop, and Floyd unintentionally pulls her backwards, to stare at her and see if she's joking. She isn't,

"Before coming here, I was sailing around the world, trying to see everything there is to see! And I was also traveling with my brother for some time, he's the captain of his pirate crew, the straw hats. Well actually, I guess I was more on my own for a bit before I got here..."
