Chapter thirty

Kacey's POV:

I really didn't know whether to forgive Leo or not but I could tell how much he meant his sorry and I loved him so I had to. Jordi pulled the box from under the bed and rummaged through it and pulled out my song book and flipped through. Once he had finished he passed is round the boys until it got to Leo. Oh crap. While Leo was looking through that Jordi picked my diary up so I grabbed it out of his hand and stopped him reading it. I couldn't let him read about everything that has happened in my life no way. He pulled me a weird look but then went back rummaging and picked one of my recordings out. The name of the one he picked out was 'cheerleader by omi'

Jordi: what's this
Kacey: erm...
Jordi: we can just play it when we get back to the house
Kacey: yeah you can wait until then
Jordi: why won't you tell us
Kacey: because ermmm it's something I pave kept secret for awhile because of my low confidence
Jordi: oh we don't have to listen to it if you don't want us to
Kacey: no it's fine youse need to know
Jordi: oh there's loads of them
Kacey: I know
Leo: wow Kacey
Kacey: what
Leo: these are so good and deep
Kacey: thanks I think

Joey's POV:

When I got passed Kacey's songbook I was stunned, the songs were so good and deep. I passed the book to Leo and while he was flicking through it Jordi pulled her diary out and she snatched it out his hand. Feisty. He started rummaging a pulled recording named 'cheerleader by omi'. They had a conversation about for a while but she wouldn't tell us what it was. The doctors came back in and told Us Kacey could go home and she was fine just needed a bandage on her arm. Once the bandage was on we left the hospital and head d to our house seen as Kacey's was burned down. Once we arrived we all ran into the recording studio and put the recording in. To our shock it was Kacey singing and damnnnnnn she was good, all of our faces dropped as we listened and she blushed like mad. Once it was finished Leo picked her up while hugging her and spun her round. When he put her down he kissed gently and smiled at her. Cute. I hadn't really kicked in with Leo that he mum had died but that's sort of a good thing because once it kicks in he's going to be so broke down and will push everyone away. I'm dreading it.
