Kacey's POV:

The next morning, I jumped happily out of bed at 7:00am and dived in the shower. After 1hour in the shower I decided to get out so I could get ready. The Lads were getting back home at 12:00pm so it left me loads of time to get ready. While I was picking my clothes, Victoria came in all ready and said she was taking me for breakfast somewhere. I quickly picked my plain black leggings, dark blue crop top, black Nike air 90's, black leather long-sleeved coat and emoji socks. Once I was ready I grabbed my little handbag and put my phone,headphones and purse in. I quickly dried my hair and put it up in a high pony so it would stay out of my face. Once ip that was done I skipped down the stairs to see Victoria already at the door waiting to go.

Kacey: sorry I took so long
Victoria: it takes time to look that good
Kacey: aw thank you
Victoria: it's fine right come on its 9:30am and breakfast finishes at 10:00am
Kacey: McDonald's by any chance
Victoria: yeah you don't mind do you
Kacey: no I love McDonald's
Victoria: come on then

Once we arrived at McDonald's we ran straight to the queue and luckily there was only 2 people in front of us. When I was our turn I got this weird named thing and Victoria got the same. It was 10:10am by the time we had finished our breakfast so we headed back home until it was time to go meet the boys.

Leo's POV:

I woke up at 8:30am to the lads jumping on my bed and screaming at me to wake up. I sat up and realised we had to get the train at 9:00am. Quickly, I had a 10 minute shower and got changed within another 10 minutes. My hair was dry by that time so I kept it flat and grabbed my bag and we checked out of the hotel and headed to the train station. We arrived at the train station just as the train pulled up, which meant we had to run. I couldn't wait to see Kacey so I ran faster than the rest. Once they had caught up we stumbled onto the train and took our seats.

Kacey's POV:

We arrived home at 10:30am which left us 1 hour 30 minutes to relax. I decided to go upstairs and carry on with my song I was writing to pass the time. At 12:00pm I heard Victoria screaming telling me to get out of the house as soon as possible and to leave her behind. I slowly walked down the stairs to see the living room was in flames and so was near the front door. I screamed while crying and tried to find a way out but I couldn't. I looked at my phone to see it was already 12:30pm which meant the lads would be home. I slowly made my way past the flames and out of the house. I saw the lads and then remembered my recordings and books were still in the house so I said 1 minute to the lads and ran back in the house. The lads were screaming my name but I ignored it quickly ran up the stairs and grabbed a little bag and stuffed my memories of me, my mum and Josh, my songbook, my diary and then my recordings of me singing in the bag and made my way back downstairs. The stairs were starting to collapse so I quickly yet slowly climbed down until I was face to face with the fire. The fire caught my arm but I managed to escape before anything else got burnt and fled out of the house. I was going to save Victoria but I couldn't get to the living room so I just left.

Leo's POV:

When we got home we saw Kacey's house was on fire and she was coming out slowly but then she shouted one minute and ran back in. We were all screaming her name and they even had to stop me from running in after her. She came back out 10 minutes later we a burnt arm and a bag of stuff. I was so angry that she ran back in because she could have died and I took the anger out on her.

Leo: what the fuck do you think you were playing at
Kacey: Leo... I had to get something important to me
Leo: you could of fucking died are you stupid
Jordi: Leo don't have ago at her
Leo: butt out Jordi
Kacey: L.e..o pppleaseee
Leo: no don't talk to me

After I said that I ran off crying about what I had done, I turned back to see Kacey collapsed on the fall crying. It wasn't her fault I was also just upset at the fact that my mum was in the house and police had told me they hadn't got anyone out. Once I got round the corner, I collapsed to fall crying until I saw Joey come and sit next to me. He gave me a massive hug and told me everything was going to be alright and that I need to go to the hospital and apologise to Kacey. I listened to his advice and we got In his car and drove to the hospital so I could go apologise to Kacey and to see what the news was on my mum.

Joey's POV:

When we arrived at hospital they let us straight into Kacey room and the police were there along with Jordi and Harvey. It looked like Kacey had just finished talking to them when we walked in so Leo sat down on the bed next to her and told her how sorry he was and that he shouldn't have taken it out on her. She hugged him tight and just cried and cried.

Kacey: Leo I've got some bad news
Leo: wwhat iss itt
Kacey: your mum died in the fire Leo but she died a hero
Leo: nooooo and what do you mean a hero
Kacey: if she hadn't shouted for me to get out of the house I would have never known about the fire and I would have died
Leo: really
Kacey: yeah really
Leo: I'm glad you're alive Kacey and I'm really happy that she died saving you
Kacey: aw I love you
Leo: I love you too
