Chapter thirty-one

Leo's POV:

When the recording started playing all our faces dropped. Wow Kacey was good at singing. Once it was finished I picked her up kissing her, while hugging her. She was as light as a feather. I put her down and we smiled at each other. We all decided to go downstairs and get something to eat but I wasn't hungry, I had a weird feeling in my stomach. I looked out the living room to see Kacey's house burnt down with crime scene tape round it. That's when it hit me, my mum died in the fire. Tears came rolling down my cheeks like a river and I'm guessing Joey heard because he came running in and gave me a massive hug. I just cried, I couldn't stop.

Kacey's POV:

We went into the kitchen, well apart from Leo, and started talking about how scared we was about when the fact Leo's mum died in the fire kicks in with him. We heard crying and Joey told us to stay there while he goes sees what's wrong. We sat at the table with our heads in our hands when Joey came in and explained it had finally kicked in. I straight away stood up and ran in to see Leo sat there with tears flooding down his cheeks. Slowly, I walked over and gave him a humongous hug.

Leo: she's gone Kacey she's gone
Kacey: I know Leo I know
Leo: it hurts so bad
Kacey: I know how you feel
Leo: no you don't
Kacey: don't you remember my dad stabbed my mum and brother
Leo: omg I'm so sorry
Kacey: it's fine you're just upset
Leo: was the fire set on purpose
Kacey: yes my dad escaped out of prison but the fire was meant to kill me not your mum
Leo: I don't want you to die though
Kacey: I aren't going anywhere
Leo: but what if he comes back for you I can't lose you
Kacey: hopefully the police will catch him before
Leo: I'm scared
Kacey: I know but everything's going to be alright
Leo: I hope so
Kacey: come on you need to eat
Leo: alright

Harvey's POV:

Leo and Kacey walked in hand in hand and Leo eyes were puffy and red. Kacey handy ate her food so she handed it to Leo and he ate it. Kacey just grabbed a sausage roll from the fridge and ate it. Once they had finished, Kacey's phone started ringing but she turned it on silent. We looked at her and she pulled I'll tell you later look at us so that Leo couldn't see. Her phone them lit up and she grabbed it and walked out the room.

Kacey's POV:

We was sat just talking when my phone started ringing. I looked at the caller id and it said 'unknown number'. I put it on silent which caused the lads to look at me so I pulled 'I'll tell you later' look to them making sure Leo didn't see. We went back to the conversation but then my phone lit up so I grabbed it and walked out the room. I walked upstairs and looked at the message.

Don't try ignore me, it won't work. Precious Leo crying aw. You won't be able to comfort him for long if you don't follow my instructions like I said. Mwahaha.

Leave me alone. Who even are you? I aren't doing what you said at all so just get lost.

I locked my phone and walked back in. They all looked at me so I just shrugged my shoulders. We walked into the living and sat on the sofa when there was a knock on the door. Straight away I shot up and went to the door to see a parcel with my name on it. I picked it up and walked upstairs into the bathroom and opened it. There was loads of photos of me and the lads, but mainly me. From times at the hospital, my mum and brother and me on the floor after the stabbing, the house when it was on fire, Leo being beat up by my dad, the time at the beach, Me slicing the blade across my arms and legs, me getting changed, movie nights with Victoria, Victoria's remains, my mum and brothers remains, me hugging Leo when he was crying, him looking out the window at the house, when I went to the park with Joey, Joey leaving me on the door step, Leo watching me walk home, me and Leo kissing, Harvey kissing me, Harvey when he hung himself, Harvey laid on the hospital bed, random photos of Charlie Joey Jordi and Leo, me asleep on my bed, me and Leo cuddled up in bed and finally when me and the lads shared a group hug. At the bottom of the pile there was a note which read:
