Part 1
It finally took a while, but I finally made it inside, and everything is a mess. There are leaves scattered all over the floor, some paint that was in the form of some weird, long-limbed, seemingly fluffy, blue thing was chipping of the of the white walls, you name it. To my right was a hallway that labeled 'Gift Shop' at the top of it, the one to my left says 'Security', and in front of me is the entrance to the main wing.
"Man, this place has... definitely seen better days." I muttered to myself, attaching and turning on a wearable camera to my head and walked forward a bit before a funny thought came to mind. I cleared my throat before I cupped my hands around my mouth. "POPPY!! IF YOU'RE HERE, COME OUT WITH YOUR TINY HANDS UP!! IT'S THE POLICE!!" I shouted out loud before laughing to myself.
Once I stopped laughing, I decided to walk over to the Security area. I walked down the hall and saw a poster on the wall featuring the top part of Poppy's head where you can see her eyes. Above her it read 'Poppy wants to play'. "Yeah? And I hope you stay away. You look just as creepy in that video tape." I said before continuing on. In front of me, was a glass door with a color-coded pad instead of a classic number pad. I looked around and found nothing that would give a clue to open the door. I even tried breaking it, but it seems to be bulletproof glass. "Oh, for fucks... The hint might be in another room." I said to no one, walking out of Security, now back in the lobby.
I looked around to see where I should go next, that was until I spotted a green VHS tape on the receptionist's desk. I walked over to it and inspected the thing. 'It probably has the code' I thought. In a corner behind the receptionist's desk, was a VHS player and a TV. I walked over to it and put it into the player. I backed up so then I can get a good view of the TV.
Its screen flashed blue before turning into static, then the screen had this toy hand on the screen that was in a pitch-black room.
"Hi, my name is Leith Pierre, and I'm the head of innovation here a Playtime Co. toy factory. If you're seeing this, then you're trespassing. Yeah, we play this little tape on loop whenever we close the factory for the day. So, trespasser, just to make you aware... While we pride ourselves primarily on our high-quality toys and excellent childcare, we also pride ourselves on our security. For example, this facility is full of hidden motion triggers which, once set off, will turn on the factory's emergency alarms and directly contact the authorities. And... that's one of the more tame aspects of our security system. No spoilers! So, you've got my warning. It's not too late to turn around. I just hope that you're certain whatever you're doing is worth it."
"...It is worth it to solve this mystery, MiStEr PiErRe." I stated in a mocking tone, even though I knew that it wouldn't respond back. I walked on over into the Gift Shop, opened the doors to see two white pedestals in the middle of the room, a few toys and a couple of boxes here and there that are scattered all over the floor. I looked up at the ceiling to see a toy train going in a circle on the train tracks, the train had weird paint colors that I don't think should be together.
Wait a minute... Green, pink, yellow, red train... security color pad. Of course! I quickly ran to the other side of the lobby and entered the combination, hoping it works. "Okay, let's do this. Green... Pink... Yellow... Red!" I said as I pressed the colored buttons on the pad, and the doors slid up. "Yes! Whoo! Finally. Okay, then, let's see what's in here." I said, walking into the security room. Inside, everything was off, all except for this glass box in the wall. Next to it was another TV. I looked over to see that a blue VHS tape was right there on the desk. I picked it up and inserted it into the VHS player and watched the TV screen.
On the screen it had a purple background, and in front of it was this weird thing called a GrabPack that had a blue left hand and a red right hand, which looks like the thing in the glass case. It then changed to this yellow bootleg person was wearing it, now instructing how to use it.
Once it ended, the glass box opened, allowing me to take the GrabPack, but it only had the blue hand. "Okay, I'll make do without." I muttered. To test out the mechanics, I used the blue hand to move-slash-throw armless office chairs around the room; I stopped when I accidentally threw one at one of the monitors/screens which broke the glass.
I sucked in a breath through my teeth, looking to the side, feeling like how one would be when they accidentally broke a window with a baseball or something. "I'mma just... go." I muttered, shuffling to the side on my way out. When I was out of the room, I sped walked away back into the lobby.
I looked over to see one of those metal things that you insert a coin into. I hummed as I set the GrabPack on the other side before taking some steps back, then took a running start, and jumped over them. I let out a groan as I stretched "I always wanted to do that." I said as I put the GrabPack back on and walked towards a closed door.
Above the door is a scanner with a blue handprint on it. With common sense, I used the blue hand on the GrabPack on the scanner, and it worked. The door slowly rose up and out of the way, revealing a hallway; at the end of the hallway showed-
