What In the Annabelle Is This?

The door slowly rose up and out of the way, revealing a hallway; at the end of the hallway showed a 10-foot tall, lanky figure with blue fur; yellow hands and feet; a yellow bow made out of ribbing; big, round red lips; round eyes with black irises that stared down at my 5'2" tall self. His right hand was raised up, almost touching the sign above it that said Playtime Co., and there were what seems to be building blocks around and on his stage that was in the middle of the Main Lobby.

I had an uneasy feeling inside of my gut which grew I walked closer. (Anyone else have a sensitive stomach that when you get a weird feeling in your gut, it feels as though you're about to throw up? No? Just me? Okay-) I looked down at the info board in front the both of us, giving me a description of this guy.

Huggy Wuggy (1984)

Playtime Co. Has designed hundreds of distinct toys, but none connected with people more than that of Huggy Wuggy. Our founder, Elliot Ludwig, aimed to create a toy which could hug you forever! As is always true, Playtime Co.'s "4-Step Process to creating the most life-like toys," was a success!

With a bit of string and polyester, our lovable, blue pal Huggy was brought to life! Huggy Wuggy has gone on to be Playtime Co.'s most popular and best-selling toy so far!

Looking around, I see many other doors with what they contain above them: Power, Testing, Theater, Cafeteria, Innovation, and two doors with glowing handprints; one just had the blue hand, but the other had a blue and red hand.

'I'll check up on that one later,' I think to myself, going to the door with the only hand I have. The moment the blue hand extended and touched the pad, the power goes out. "Wait, what? What is-" I asked aloud before stopping at the sound of a key jingle. I looked around confused; this place is abandoned, so there should be anyone... here. The moment I looked back up at Huggy Wuggy, he had a key in his raised hand.

Hesitantly, I fired the hand at the key, which it took. "Um... thanks? ...High five!" I said after I took the key out of it's grasp, extending the blue hand at his raised hand. I didn't know what this key would open, so I guessed it was the Power Room because the key is yellow and the sign for the Power Room is yellow. Luckily, my logic worked!

I walked down the hall and opened the door to the Power Room. I looked around and spotted a poster with a cartoon version of Huggy, but with pink fur, was a girl, and a blue bow made out of ribbon.

DO:
Be kind to others
Show up on time
NOT hide behind doors to scare Laith Pierre

DON'T:
Stay past 8:00 PM
Misuse company time
Tamper with machinery
Enter "Innovation" wing without authorization

I continued on, walking around the place before I spotted a panel with a bronze handle and two handprints on it that were blue and yellow. I busted open, scaring the bejesus out of me.

I shot the blue hand at the power source and started wrapping the wire around two poles, a sense of familiarity filling me. When I wrapped wire around the last pole, the power was back on. "Oh, thank goodness. Glad I did it right." I muttered, turning around to the hall that led to the Main Lobby and walked out.

When I walked out of the Power Room, I saw that the stage that Huggy Wuggy stood on was empty, the spotlights and moonlight that shone through the windows directing to an empty space. A sense of dread filled my being, this shouldn't be possible, right? A toy can't be walking on it's own, unless it was possessed like the Annabelle doll in 1970, or had Furby mechanics inside.

Not wanting to stick around and find out, I head straight for the door with just the blue hand. I extended said hand to the panel and the door slowly opened. I walked down the hallway, the floor was dirtied white tiles with scattered red, blue and yellow tiles. The first arch in the hallway held a sign that said Make-A-Friend. To the left wall, it shows a poster of a toy called Candy Cat with the words YUM! and EAT! on it as Candy Cat tries to scoop up some pieces of candy with his long tongue.
