The place was packed, the second rush of the Christmas crowd had started, and incomers, visitors, and returning yaddies alike were lined up on the sidewalk awaiting their transport.
My phone begins to shake in the center console, the vibration signifies that a call is coming through.
Hope a him dis.
Without taking my eyes off the road, I answer it, placing the call on speaker immediately.
"Yow,"
"Yuh nuh see me bro?" he calls back.
"No enuh, weh yuh have one again?" I reply, winding down the passenger window.
The cars in front of me slow down, and I take this opportunity to scan the crowd for him.

"Me seh yuh, yuh see me?"
"Black BMW" I add, hoping my description can get us out of the crowd quicker.
"Ahh, me see yuh" he says, eyes set on my car, he grabs hold of his suitcases and steps closer to the road.
I quickly pull out of the line of traffic, drive up close to the sidewalk, and hop out.
"Bro," he exclaims, dapping me up.
"Yuh look like yuh bade doh" I tease, stepping out to help him with his bags.
